I don't usually leave bad review, but I had one of the worst experience at this place. I was in the area for a business trip so looking for quick dinner through google map and found this place near my hotel. I was expecting simple chinese dinner and had very low expectation... I was greeted by very rude waitress but whatever... still didn't bother me. When I was going through menu, I saw a page of Korean food written in Korean. So I asked the waitress about this and she simply said 'I can't read it' then walked away. wth? When she came back, I pointed one item from the menu (spicy seafood noodle soup) and told her if I could order it. She told me it was $11...not what I asked but whatever. I asked her if chef was Korean and she said 'YES'. So I order the food. Again, I still didn't have high expectation... There aren't many korean places near this side of Texas. So, I was thinking if they can make this 30 out of 100, I'd be happy. When waitress brought the food it wasn't even near what I ordered... it was soupy, had few shrimps in it and it had noodle... but it was, I think, sweet & sour soup based noodle. You can't & shouldn't have specific ethnic items on your menu if you can't even mimic it. Making it bad is acceptable but making wrong is not. It's like you order a pizza and they bring you a burger. The Waitress & manager (?) knew I wasn't happy but didn't even come near my table. I was hungry so I tried really hard to finish my food but just couldn't. I didn't say a word and went to the counter to pay for my bill. Manager asks 'how was everything?' without making an eye contact. I just gave her my card and paid for the food and left. I know this means nothing to them, but I won't be going back...
Read moreThis used to be the last good Chinese restaurant in town. Now it's absolutely horrible. The last time we went in there it smelled like rotting mice. The woman is kind of rude and unprofessional. The food was horrible. They sent our rice it was absolutely ice cold and she acted like that wasn't a problem. She reluctantly took it in the back after arguing and put it in the microwave. Food was awful the place is absolutely nasty. All the while there's a Christian radio station blasting talk Radio in the background. Don't get me wrong I'm a Christian but I don't want to hear that while I'm trying to eat especially at such a loud level. Very...
Read moreAfter trying a few different places here in Texarkana, I must say this is is by far the best. It is a very small, family-owned place, and if you don't know better, you are going to miss out, because the building is not the main attraction. It's the delicious food, in huge portions I might add, cooked by the owner himself, then served by his delightful, lovely, warm, and friendly wife. I explained what I was in the mood for, and Mrs. Lee made her recommendation, which was just what I needed and didn't know. Thank you, I look forward to...
