First time there, went after church services and had lunch. The waitress was very attentive and precise to all of us being a party of Eight. With the variations in our request for drinks and our menu choices preference she was spot on. Some confusion as to what had beans and rice with and those that did not, but I digress. Everything seemed to be mild in flavor to me, but it could have been my sinuses that day. The Salsas were good, truly seemed to be fresh and home made, and were pleasant with fresh chips. I had the Enchilada Supreme (does not come with beans and rice) The beef, chicken, and cheese was not skimpy in serving size and instead of the red sauce I always prefer to have the chili sauce. I really like the chicken enchilada, it was full of white breast meat seasoned well and not overwhelming as to too much seasoning, if I had this alone I would cater towards a cheese sauce instead of chili. The only thing that I did not care for was the beans, it was like a powder mix instead of real beans, so the texture and flavor was not to my liking but others seemed to enjoy it. The service stands out as one of the best. We had a good time. I'm getting...
Read moreSo to start, this was QUITE the experience. We arrived at 5pm right before dinner rush. I asked the owner how long they had been open, they had very few reviews, they've been open for about 4 months. It is very clean and we were sat immediately. Our waitress EMILY, was FANTASTIC. Very helpful and very knowledgeable. She is one of the only people who was fluent in English, and most of the rest of the staff knew little, to none. Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. She recommended the SPICY salsa, and even though she didn't know what was in it, it was sweet and tangy and I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. It was like a sweet habenero. We ordered many different items from street tacos to chimis, enchiladas to quesadillas. It was all tasty! We were there about 2 hrs because one of their main struggles is the communication issue. Had almost every order messed up and had to fix, but Emily was a delight and kept us stocked on chips, and drinks which kept us and...
Read moreFirst time eating here. I treated a friend for his birthday, and he chose the restaurant because he likes Loca Luna, and he has wanted to try Luna Llena since it's owned by the same people. Service here was good and friendly. Salsa and chips were excellent! He ordered street tacos and loved them. I ordered a beef chimichanga, but they brought me a chicken one instead. I didn't try to send it back though because I'm usually not one to do that unless it's something I absolutely don't like. However, the chicken was a bit dry. The rice and beans were okay. Not a whole lot of flavor. The atmosphere is nice! Having been there when it was Cattleman's, I was amazed at how different it looked and loved the brighter atmosphere. It didn't strike me as one of my favorite places, but I would probably go back sometime if my friend wants...
