An internet order brought me in after midnight...
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
After waiting in line behind cars at the drive thru, my app placed order was served with cold, hard fries and patties on both my hamburger and a patty melt burned so badly their edges--all the way around to almost the middles--were as black as asphalt. They were nearly as hard as asphalt, too.
Never mind how long I had to sit there in the drive thru line behind another customer-- whom they had parked in front of me while we sat in the single-lane drive thru, while he--I mean while we--waited on his order. While I had already gotten my burned food and my cold food in the same sack, he was doubtlessly still waiting ahead of me and I was doubtlessly waiting for or with him, whether or not I wanted to, since I was totally unable to get around him, as the drive thru allows only one lane of traffic.
It's any wonder that Dr. Pepper shake was still solid or in mostly solid, but soft form. Styrofoam obviously insulates better than paper: Too bad it can't keep patties from burning so on the bad-a-burger burner.
While they forgot to give me the two straws to go with the drinks, they unnecessarily gave me 15 packages of ketchup. I guess I should have been happy to have enough ketchup to perhaps drown out the flavor of overkill and over burn that characterized the burger and patty melt. Maybe if I had dowsed them in all that ketchup and allowed them to marinate a few hours, the patties might not have been so hard to chew and eat or swallow, like these were. I tossed them in the bag with the ketchup instead.
I'm fed up and sick to death with poor quality, poor service, and poor judgment of line cooks, prep staff and servers, along with the restaurants which employ them....
Oh, and, Whataburger, don't kid yourself or us that it's at all reasonable how you expect us to pay an extra $2.65 for only two measley, half-pieces of bacon, or to then bilk us if another added $0.65 charge for simulated cheese to dry, burned, hard burgers that come with any of your $11+ hamburger meals.
Keep your burger meal, your burned patties, your tragic bacon, your overpriced, simulated cheese, and everything else, too. I'm keeping my money.
Epic failure, State Line...
Read moreSo Texarkana a city that is twice as nice. Has tow whataburgers any time a place has tow of something you have to find out witch one is the good one. Am here to stay this is it the one on the arkansas sied of state line is the good whataburger food is always hot and fresh never cold some times there is a short line but it moves fast I like to order the number one dry with lettuce tomato and cheese only fresh and drink the cheese comes out melted the burger is hot and so are the fries salt packs available up front with napkins but the staff always place salt packs napkins and ketchup on the try before bringing out my hot and delicious whataburger no complaints at this location. No if you want some cold steal. Frys and cold burger with a cold slice of cheese on the burger all though you order it with lettuce tomatoe and cheese only go to the other whataburger location in Texarkana on the Texas sied off Richmond road also won't get any salt packs or ketchup on your tray you have to go to the counter to ask for them and if you go to the counter it be just like when you walk in the door and when to the counter stand their for 5 to 10 maybe 15 minutes before any one Acknowledge you and if your lucky they will help you if not wait another 5 to 10 minutes after that just to get a napkins salt or ketchup. Same process if you want to complain about the food being cold. This location has ran out of salt before. The whataburger Texarkana Arkansas has not and no waiting around just to wait a round like the one on the Texas sied. This whataburger on the Arkansas sied is hands down the batter of the tow whataburgers in town. Also whataburger Texarkana Arkansas is by far the best whataburger...
Read moreI’m not typically one to post negative reviews, but this is one of the most unprofessional places I have visited. I am not from the area, and we don’t have Whattaburger where I am from, so it’s always necessary for me to stop into one when I get the chance. The staff was VERY rude. They acted like there were no customers in there and that they did not want to be at work. Sitting around, talking and yelling, while also using foul language. While me and my fiancé were ordering, our order was incorrect. I guess they were too distracted talking about their personal drama to put our correct order in. We take our receipt up to them, they shrug and make us pay extra. Our food was not as good as any other Whattaburger, tasted like McDonald’s to us. The restaurant was a mess behind their counter and out in the dining area. While we sit down, there’s other customers complaining about where management is, because there’s multiple waiting to order while everyone is chatting in the office and sitting down. Not to mention, the bathrooms are HORRIBLE. If you decide to stop in at this location, I would advise to stay far from it, unless you would like to deal with rude behavior, cold and incorrect food orders, and...
