A sad experience in a beautiful place. Yesterday we tried to celebrate the mu friends birthday in the restaurant. We had a reserved table for the 630 to 24 people, around 645 we were all accommodated and ordering for our drinks. A little after the 7 one waitress came to write down the requests of every one on the table, it took a reasonable time. Passed 40 minutes she returned and informed some of my friends that they had no longer what they had order, so they exchange. More 30 minutes she returned and informed others from the table that there was no longer what they order and now she did not recommend order the steaks, because would take another hour. At a given moment we asked to talk to the manager who did not come to our table, one of our friends was until he will talk to the ... the answer was if we were pleased to leave! At the table had friends with children who were already waiting for more than two hours for their food, which decided to go to another place, and for those who the request was correct and available had just been served the salad (after more than 2 hours sitting there). When the expected Picanha steak arrived it was tasty, whatever the climate of celebration was already spoiled, I was joyful and willing to leave. We arrived at the restaurant 630 we left 930 after waiting 30 minutes for the bill, which was given us 10% discount by the inconvenience. Dishes are not cheap, food have quality but does not worth the investment and headache go in this restaurant. Maybe on a weekday or when...

Wonderful barbeque in a quaint little spot. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The current restaurant lies just beside I-30 at Texarkana, Texas side of street however the owners are renovating a new building directly across the street scheduled for opening in May 2019. We dined at lunch time where many locals were lined up to order. Wait time from door to food was less than five minutes. Our waitress Theresa was awesome. I'm in the administrative business and if the owners are reading this ...when you move across the street keep her up front hosting the tables. She was the star of your business aside from the meats. (Love ya Theresa and keep up the good work)...on with the review. We eat BBQ everywhere we travel. This was the best we had in Texas. In fact we've only had two that compete with it. One in Alabama and one in Sheridan Arkansas. The sides were homemade and delightful. Sauces sweet and savory. I'm a big fan of beef brisket and theirs was perfect. Cut with plastic fork smoke ring even and mellow flavored. Absolutely perfect. Drinks were also a treat. Perfectly sweetened Tea or craft soda from the fountain. Who can resist craft root beer? If you have to travel this section of interstate highway i highly recommend stopping here. Ribs , sausage, pulled pork, brisket....you just can't go wrong. If you do stop by tell the the two BBQ connoisseurs Fred and Barney sent ya. Enjoy and...

First time here at Naaman’s! Just passing through from out of town. I tried the ribs, chicken, brisket, and sausage along with the creamy corn and Mac and cheese on the side.

Ribs: Solid 7.8/10 - the meat didn’t fall off the bone very well at all but the flavor was pretty good.

Chicken: 6/10 - it’s tender and cooked just right but it didn’t have as much flavor as it could’ve and the outer skin was really tough.

Brisket: 6.8/10 - unless you like lean brisket, ask for a moist cut. Even though I prefer moist brisket over lean brisket, I can definitely eat either or. But the few slices they cut me were super dry.

Sausage: 7.7/10 - I really respect and appreciate how they make their sausage in house. You can never go wrong with a good homemade sausage taste. I loved it for what it was, but it didn’t wow me like I anticipated.

Toast: 10/10 - go ahead and order extra. Definitely the make or break for the whole meal surprisingly enough.

Creamy Corn: 7/10 - wasn’t bad, I’d bet they have better side options though. I was eyeing that twice baked potato BAD!

Mac and Cheese: 9/10 - the more places I visit, the more I realize that apparently it’s not easy for places to come up with their own unique Mac and cheese and ACTUALLY turn out to be good. I’m a tough critic on Mac and cheese and this turned out a lot better than I expected.

The vibe of this place is awesome. Perfect Texas feel for a place...
