Sue N' Carol's Kitchen — Restaurant in Texarkana

I came in at 10am the restaurant was not packed at all. But when I went to order you can tell the server was unhappy I ordered breakfast as she tried telling me to look at their lunch menu. Then after I placed my order as she brought out our drink she informed us it was going to take a long time because they have to premake 100 burgers and there is no room on the grill to cook my food, and because I choose to get breakfast instead of a burger that I'm out of luck. As I sat there waiting for my food the waitress did refill a huge cup of sweet tea. Which I'm surprised cuz I usually never even get a refill. My food finally arrived at 11:25. We stopped at Sue N Carol’s on a road trip back home to Texas. We were looking for a good breakfast spot that wasn’t a chain restaurant. This place delivered. We ordered a few 2 egg specials, a breakfast burrito, a western omelet, and some hotcakes. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was like having Grandma make us breakfast. The coffee was good and we got some for the road. Hopefully next time we drive through our timing will work out and we can try lunch....

Loved it. Stopped for breakfast on a Monday morning and it felt like being in your mommas kitchen. Love the atmosphere of regulars sitting around chatting and cutting up. An older couple rolled up in an old international truck and my 11 year old was mesmerized. All the old Coca Cola decorations and other memorabilia from the lifetime of the business.
