I want to thank the team at Empcomass for the exceptional care they provided to my dad, Jerry Gross. My dad spent almost a month at Encompass. During his time at Encompass, he was treated with kindness, respect, and care. My dad lost his battle but was able to spend his final days surrounded by a team of caregivers who genuinely gave their all to ensure he was comfortable and happy while making all of us feel at ease as well. When we decided to take him home, Laura was exceptionally great at setting up Hospice and expedited the discharge process. Our family will forever be grateful to Nestie, Shalisa, Queenie, Ravyn, Laura, Amy, and Dr. Wright. My mom was there a few days ago and some of the nurses were very hateful and in my opinion, neglectful to both my mother and her roommate. They discharged my mother knowing they would not even let her get off the toilet by herself at the facility but sent her home alone with no services set up to help her. The first time we went things were really good but this time around they were subpar and I was extremely disappointed and outright disgusted by the way they made my mother feel. She is worse now than when she went in, but does not want to go anywhere else now as she doesn’t want to deal with the possibility of being treated that way again. I had a very good experience at Encompass. Staff was entuned to my needs and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. Therapists were awesome and really tried to make each session as positive as could be. Always felt I was moving forward with my rehab. Most assuredly would recommend Encompass to anyone needing rehab following an injury or surgery. Nurses were so professional and thoughtful. Paige went above and beyond to make sure I got my meds on time. My pt therapist, Keith, was so encouraging. He kept me moving right along so my transition to home was seamless.
