We took several family pictures here.
Main draw for us was just the state line photo opportunity - we didn't go inside because we went when it was closed.
We went on a Sunday morning. It was easy to park and easy to take several pictures. One couple stopped while we were there and we took pictures of each others family. But other than that it was relatively vacant.
There was another memorial around the corner (easy walking distance) and across the street; that had Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana State Flags all together.
And a neat old church across from the postoffice - St. James Church. I don't know anything about it - but it looked neat from the outside.

Read moreWe stopped in today to get a birthday card for our Grandson postmarked from Texarkana. Lashanda provided VERY friendly, efficient service. She asked if we had taken our picture in front of the building. Because of our affirmative response, she provided us with more information (verbally and in writing) regarding this famous building. Thank you for the brief history lesson. The postal service should use Lashanda as a model for how the customer is treated! Great job...
