Starbucks — Restaurant in Texas City

Where do I begin?! This store is constantly going above and beyond expectations! I frequent the location inside the Texas City Tanger Outlet and I can confidently say even with high volume traffic this store never fails to deliver amazing service!!! The moment you open the door you are greeted with the biggest smiles and more often than not a “Hey! How are you? What’s going on?!” rain, shine, slow days or even on the busiest! BLACK FRIDAY!!! YIKES!! I never go into this store worried if my drink is made correctly or not because they all seem to be on their A game! The staff is always eager to please and even if you feel like your drink is not up to par they are always insisting they can redo the drink or even offer you other options!! I don’t know about you but always having the option is kinda nice! This starbucks is great at making you feel less like a customer and more so a family member! That’s something you really don’t see as often in the service industry anymore! WE NEED MORE OF THAT. I guess I’m leaving this review to tell you, IF YOU CAN STOP HERE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I don’t know how or what they have going on at the Texas City Tanger Outlet location but this store SHOULD be the FOUNDATION for all current locations and even new ones to come! I work by the Texas City Tanger Outlet location so I frequently order from the app and walk by to it pick up nearly every day. Usually the service is okay, but could be better. Some of the workers are polite enough, but never recognize me. There would be times they wouldn't look up from what they're doing. However, there's one certain worker named Andres that works very often and whom also strongly stands out from the others.I don't believe he enjoys his job at all. Every time I walk in to pick up my drink to see him working I already know my drink is not going to be the best. One day the coffee was so bad I went to dump it out in the sink, but little did I know there was going to be a surprise for me; a hair was in the drink. By the length and color I knew it was his, which is very upsetting. Furthermore, he looks like he hates the world every day. Not only that, but he sounds like he hates everyone, and that's when he DOES speak. He also never makes eye contact with me when I thank him for the drink or even look up to greet me inside the store. I never ever write reviews, but finding the hair in my drink was the last straw for me. I am also very tired of feeling like an annoyance to even walk into the location whenever...

My drink tasted fantastic, as usual, but my entire evening was ruined an hour after drinking my latte because instead of making it with soy they made it with milk. When a drink is flavorful and sweet it is very hard to taste the difference between Soy and milk. If the costumer asks for Soy, then the cashier writes "SOY" or "S" in the designated box on the cup, the baristas should probably look at all 7 boxes on the cup to make sure they're doing it correctly. I am very lactose intolerant, and now my evening and night is ruined, because people are too careless to read the cup boxes designed to improve product...
