ok, as being a self acclaimed foodie I do know that you will at times run into restaurants that may not be on their game that particular day or there may be issues that randomly pop up,Thats expected and can be forgiven.. Now when you give an establishment another opportunity to prove why SOME people say that they're a good spot to choose to eat and spend your money there, you wouldn't expect to have the same experience and that's when it becomes nonforgiveable.
Now with that being said for some strange reason after a night of traveling from Aggieland watching my Aggies win, we decided that we wanted some good breakfast. My choice was Cracker barrel but the line was to long, so we get into the car and started freestyling on where to eat and thats when Bill Miller popped up on the service road.. When I seen them It took my memory back into time when I ate breakfast at Bill Miller's before at another location, I did not have a good experience with the food quality. Well that was years ago and I said to myself that there is no way that it will still be the same.Well, well, well low and behold it was the same..
The check in was flawless and the service rep who took my order was kind and friendly. I requested that my pancakes come out hot and fresh, he assured me that they would..less than 10 minutes later my plate comes out...The first thing I always do is place the back side of my hand on the top pancake to judge the hotness of the cakes.. Wouldn't you know the pancakes were heater lamp warm and the hashbrowns were cold and the bacon looked like it was cooked an hour ago.
So being an Elite yelper you have to speak the truth and thats what I'm doing with all my reviews. Hopefully Bill Millers can one day get their breakfast game on point, until then I will not put fourth anymore money for their food.. The food is plain/basic... As a restaurant you have to do something different from the others in the business because if everyone wanted plain and basic we would...
Read moreBill Miller BBQ used to be a great place to get comfort food at an affordable price, but they have gone downhill bad! Not only are they expensive nowadays, but their customer service is horrible and their small portions of food are very bland! This location near Wells Branch is one of the worst! I stopped by to get some breakfast tacos this morning because they are one of the only fast-food restaurants to serve breakfast past 10:30am. Not only are they super slow in the drive-thru, they got my order wrong yet again! I called the location to express my frustration with the manager, who said her name was Catia, but she could not have cared less that I was a long-time customer. Instead of offering to make things right, she just made excuses and blamed employees for my bad drive-thru experience. She suggested that I ask for a manager on my next visit, but she is the manager I was currently speaking to and if she wouldn't make it right for me this time, why would I go back and ask for a manager again next time? She doesn't quite understand that she is the one hired to train employees to fill orders correctly and make things right for customers when they do not. She certainly shouldn't be paid to be a manager if she doesn't know how to manage! I can remember when Taco Cabana took their customers for granted and blew them off the same way, and they eventually lost business and closed locations until they finally had to sell the company to avoid bankruptcy! So good luck Bill Miller BBQ! You have definitely lost this...
Read moreThis location has become as bad as all the other locations of Bill Miller BBQ! Not only do they put the tiniest amount of eggs or other items on their breakfast tacos, but they also rarely ever get an order correct! I reluctantly tried them again yesterday, and I could hardly understand the kid working the drive-thru window when he took my order. He mumbled something very quickly, so I was going to make sure he got my order straight when I reached the window. But when I got to the window, the kid (nametag said Trent) was handling the money and also preparing the food. He didn't wash his hands and had the same old glove only on one hand as when he was handling the money from the customer in front of me. I asked him if he was handling both the money and also the food, and he said "yeah". I told him I didn't want the food and to just cancel my order. I asked the name of the manager, and he said he didn't know because they don't go by first names...Lol! Really? Then why did this kid have his first name on his name tag? He said he just called his manager "Cannon". It is obvious this place has so much turnover and so little training of employees! It is terribly mismanaged and the only reason they are still in business is the fact that they have no competition in the drive-thru BBQ segment of the fast-food market. They definitely don't seem to care about repeat business or keeping their...
