Since it was my first time here and I'm aware every restaurant is different. I asked the waiter how do they serve their crab. The waiter condescendingly said that I would receive 8 large legs. Which means two clusters so I proceeded to place my order. Even enjoyed an awesome glass of wine while I waited. I should've ended my experience at the wine. Once my food came my 11 year old daughter pointed out "those aren't large crabs!" I had one average sized cluster and six small crab legs/ pieces. Which was more the i was originally told. The small crab was so over cooked it was ridiculously hard to get the meat out. I brought this to my waiters attention. It was so hard to get the meat out i couldnt even get a reasnable sized chunk of meat to dip in the butter. When I got to the average sized crab it was prepared totally different! The meat came out perfect and it tasted amazing. I brought this to the waiter attention as well. He aggred there was a huge difference. So I asked for the manager who confirmed the crab was smaller then it should be and the most he could do is take $10 off my $80 tab. So fast forward two days later i came back to talk to the owner about my meal and he basically said there was nothing he could do and that night the kitchen was closed so they aren't going to cook my food over again. I told him I never wrote reviews but I was going to make sure everyday knew how horrible my experience was.He replied "do whatever you have to do." Never going back worst customer service ever! Its a shame because the food was actually not that bad I had crawfish for an appetizer and my daughter had Cajun pasta. She loved her food if only they actually showed concern for the ill prepared crab this review wouldn't even exist.
Update
Sorry for the misinformation she had crawfish etouffee and since you are the owner you should be aware of the situation considering when the situation happened the manager called you to see how to handle it and you said there was nothing you could do. And her meal was not the problem so it further goes to show you dont care you did not address the real issue your focus was on trying to divert the attention to me using the wrong name of her meal and trying to put it off on another restaurant. I can see the picture and the address of your restaurant while writing the review. You didnt even try to see how you could correct the situation. So just like your manager told me you dont care. Clearly. So no I will not remove my post because this is the...
Read moreWhen my party of 3 arrived, the waiter Erik D. was very attentive. After we put in our order our and received most of our food, the service started getting worse. We never received our salad and had to tell him never mind because my guest was halfway finished eating. He never came back to check on our table or ask for refills. Another lady saw us looking and asked if we needed something, and we asked for drink refills and to go containers. My guest and I enjoyed our food. My biggest complaint is how they make the payment. They gave me a bill that had a QR code, but I don't use QR codes. So I took the bill looked at the amount and transferred it to my CashApp card because this is my 1st time at this restaurant, and I don't like when my card it taken out of my site. So, I had about $5 more than the bill on the card. I got a notification that it was run for the full amount on the card. Then, I get a notification that they are trying to bill an additional $1.21 that was declined. So I added more money so they could bill the $1.21. At this point, no one has come back to the table about the balance. After at least 5 minutes or so, she comes and says the card was declined. So I asked why are they over charging me, and then she gave me the receipt where the 1st amount went through and said it's a 3.5% non cash fee. I told her that they should make customers aware from the beginning, not after you charge them. I told her the money was already on so she could charge the $1.21 difference. I put the tip, and we left. Of course, I even ended up paying a fee on my tip. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to give me a receipt with one price, bill me something different, and then give me the receipt telling me that I will be billed extra for not paying with cash. My guest were both in their 80's and don't understand QR coded and all of that. I probably wouldn't go back personally unless they want to go back, but I will...
Read moreWe decided to try this local eatery based, in large part, on the Yelp reviews. Sadly, we won't be going back. The ONLY positive to this place was the friendly waitstaff. We sat outside on the patio and about 10 minutes into the experience we were each sniffing each other to decide if one of us was the source of the horrendous fishy trash smell that wafted past every few minutes. It was nauseating. On this particular Thursday evening, we waited 45 MINUTES for our food. Luckily we had at least opted to pay $2 for the 4 pieces of garlic bread to hold over my 2 year old son during the insanely long wait. Our server was friendly through it all, but a manager never came by to address the problem. My husband ordered the JUMBO grilled shrimp. Needless to say they were anything but jumbo. 7 kebob-size shrimp, a cup of over-steamed veggies and a baked potato (with an upcharge, of course) for $17. Yikes. While we were paying, we asked for a manager. We honestly just wanted to be friendly and let them know about the smell issue. She thanked us for telling her. And that was IT. No asking us how it was; no apology for the ridiculous wait; no offer to comp any part of the meal. I was shocked. AFTER we paid, the owner/manager came out and sniffed a few times, said he didn't smell anything, and even if we did smell something, it wasn't anything that was his fault. He said next time sit inside. (Seriously, that was his response). He said if we had bad service that wasn't his fault either because his help is all young kids making $2.50 an hour. We asked him if the food issues were his fault and he said yes, that was in his area. So my husband proceeded to tell him about the "mislabeled" shrimp and an under-cooked baked potato. He ARGUED with my husband about the shrimp and potato. He never once asked what he could do to earn our return business -- so he won't. Extremely...
