I come here very often. My parents have taken me here ever since its opened. Ive been dissapointed how things have devolved and I think today was the final straw. I've ordered in person and online orders and I can safely say I'm moving on to a different location.
Everytime I order a pick up order and come inside to pick it up, it always takes FOREVER for anybody to acknowledge me. I order ahead so when I get there, I don't have to wait as long for the food. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering online if by the time it takes for someone to help me out I couldve already placed an order in person and had it out. The drive through is minimally better since youre always taking a gamble if theres a line ahead of you. What makes it worse is that everytime, I SEE my food across the counter, but they dont have a pick up station like most other fast food places have. So instead I have to wait for either someone working in the line, or the drive through employee to notice me- which is rare since they are at the drive through register.
Ive also seen how elderly customers have been affected by all the automation and AI taking over. Im a huge fan of kiosks but theyve completly replaced the entire human aspect. None of the employees acknowledged people standing at the counters, even when the kiosks are not working. Ive had to help and elderly pair place an order and even I couldn't do anything because the system was glitched. It took so long for anybody to even come and acknowledge them.
The only reason I still kept coming back was because I could atleast tolerate it, and once they did get to me they atleast werent rude. My orders would NORMALLY come back correct. Today changed that. I came in after I ordered the usual and ofcourse I was left standing underneath the mobile order sign for awhile. I usually try to look at my phone or away to not unintentionally make the employees feel pressured. I used to work in fast food so I understand the struggles of dealing with rude customers and I always do my best to always be very friendly and express gratitude. I was glancing around to see if anybody was even paying attention. The nearest one was pretending to be busy (Ive been around it alot) and finally when we made eye contact I had to ask for my food. He THREW my food onto the counter and kept walking away to the other side and didnt even bother to give me my drink. I work night shift so at this point its making me run late. I kept waiting there for someone to help me but NOBODY came. I had to ask one of the employees who barely just clocked in to help me get my drink. When I finally got to eating my food it was cold and the cinnamon twists were RANCID with NO cinnamon. The oil must have been incredibly burnt or they must have spilled something in it because the cinnamon twists I had were completly inedible. I asked my coworkers to try and and they agreed with me.
I love taco bell, and I really did give this place chance after chance after chance for YEARS. But the service has become awful, the work system is inefficient, and the human aspect has been completly stripped. This could be fixed if they either had someone dedicated to take care of dine in customers and mobile orders, instead of offload that responsibility to the drive through person, or if they ACTUALLY HAD A PICK UP SPOT. As far as the rancid oil, they really needed to have some quality assurance or better health safety practices. I would have put up with either the bad food or the bad service but the years of neglect and both of those things was just too much.
Please go to the taco bell down Champion Forest instead, its close enough to there where the little extra drive is WORTH the better quality. Your food will be edible and the people there will actually treat you human. The address is 20232 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379 TRUST ME, you are much...
Read moreThis was once a weekly must visit for me. It want the closest but they made the best tacos full of the good stuff not greasy not broken not stuck to the bottom of the paper. The people greeted u quickly with courtesy and respect and got the order correct almost every time. Now they are overly frugal with fillings, nearly every taco is broken in half or stuck to the paper, which rips the bottom right out along with the filling. It takes minutes to be acknowledged if you called in an order ahead of time or need something they forgot to give you. The place is clean. Floors and tables all good. Bathroom too. But a person feels more like a bother than a customer when entering the store at prime time. You are penalized for going inside rather than use the drive-through window. Why? I watched a family of five stand at the counter to order for no less than 9 minutes before a worker poked his head out from back and aimed them at the kiosk. They complied, but were still at it even after we finished our meal and we’re leaving. This is bad form Taco Bell. Very bad form. This place should be heaving with customers. It’s Taco Bell! Come on man! You can do better. Much better....

The guy at the window told me to park ahead and wait for the food so I did and when the food came out this girl comes to the window and hands me my food so rudely and practically screams at me saying “please do not park in the lot like that again” and starts running back inside before I can even get a response in but I still said that the man told me to do that… then I come home and realize she didn’t give any of the sauces I asked for.. and my friend takes a bite of her Mexican pizza and it literally tastes like it’s been sitting out for days like it was so disgusting she couldn’t even finish it and threw it away. I think people need to remember what customer service is and not be brats to the customers and if ur gonna be rude at least make sure the food doesn’t taste like...
