Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Texas

Edit: No mention of the store being closed was on your facebook where i saw your advertisement. I checked, my husband checked, we double checked before wrapping our 3 kids in 3 layers of clothing and boots to leave our house to go get ice cream in freezing weather. If your decision was last minute, OK. But we didn't even check your "socials" until 1 hour after you claimed you were going to open. Maybe you need a new social media team because you did NOT post anywhere on your Facebook(where the ad was posted and never taken down) that you would not be open. The fact you would lie says volumes.

We visited Bruster's for the first time today as kids really wanted to try it. They have benches and sitting area outside where we enjoyed different flavors. No doubt about the yummy taste but one thing that I didn't like was that kids hands were getting dirty and sticky as the ice cream was melting. There was no area to wash it and the only thing we had was the paper napkins which doesn't solve the purpose. We noticed that there was a faucet outside the shop that we used to wash kids hands. The very next moment I noticed that their staff quietly came out and took off the faucet head so that we can't use it anymore. It would have been more polite if they told us not to use it for some reason or offered us water separately. No questions on the taste and...

Not quite sure how well this is going to work with the setup going on. Went yesterday with 3 others. All orders are given separately with very long wait periods between each serving. One order for 4 icecreams all handed out in 30 minutes separately. Young son's vanilla ice cream (cup) had a one inch long black hair on it... not one of us has black hair at all. Then took 20 minutes to give him another. The rest of us were done with our icecream and of course had to wait for a 6 year old to finish his ice cream. Not to mention limited seating that is outside "ONLY" It became very windy and started misting so the umbrella did not work. Maybe try adding a place to sit inside as well as outside.
