Craft Grill — Restaurant in Tomball

9/7/2025: Great restaurant with a large menu. There is truly something for everyone at Craft Grill. We sat at the bar and received a warm welcome from Isabella. She truly is a gem and she made our visit great. We looked over the large menu and dwindled it down to 3 items. My friend and I split the wedge salad to start. Isabella's shift was just about over, but she was super sweet to take our order. She even split our wedge salad and completed the order with our special requests and changes. The wedge was one of the best ones I have had in a long time. In addition to the regular wedge topping, bacon and grape tomatoes, they add capers, a balsamic drizzle, and a sliced hard boiled egg. It was delicious and the perfect size for splitting. We then ordered the Dixie Chick sandwich to split. This spicy fried chicken handheld comes with smoked gouda pimento cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion. I had the onions removed from my half. You can order it mild upon request, but the "spicy" is truly not spicy. It was so flavorful and unique. The sandwich has two pieces of chicken breast, so it is quite large and suitable for sharing. We added the sweet potato fries as our side. They were crispy and fantastic. The restaurant itself has lots of seating, including booth options. The bar is large with TV screens about to watch sports and they also have small tables in the bar area for a more private feel. I highly recommend this restaurant. Been a while since we have hit up our family favorite Craft Grill for dinner. I started with a Spicy! B.A.M. - Jalapeno Infused Tequila, Smoked Pineapple, Mango. New favorite cocktail here!

Appetizer: BLUE RIBBON DEVILED EGGS - House-Made Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese, Benton's Bacon. Always great, the smoky gouda and smoky Benton's bacon go so well together.

Entrées: BIG TEX CHICKEN FRIED STEAK - Battered & Fried Top Round, Mashed Potatoes, Sawmill Bacon Gravy +1 side. I chose jalapeño hushpuppies. Everything was ridiculously great today. The mashed potatoes were extra extra good today.

My son got the CHICKEN & BISCUITS - Fried Chicken, Buttermilk Biscuits, Mississippi Come-Back Sauce, Pickles +1 side. He chose his go to and favorite bacon Mac and Cheese.

I also got a Spicy! Trail Rider Special - Jalapeno Infused Tequila, Agave, Lime Juice. Seriously, if they have any cocktail on the menu with their jalapeño infused tequila, just get it, because it's going to be amazing cocktail.

We brought home for my wife a DIXIE CHICK Sandwich - Spicy Fried Chicken, Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickle w/ Fries. Look at the size of the chicken, took up almost the whole to-go box. (someone check on Big Bird, they might have fried him up 😄)

Just a fantastic Southern/American restaurant in our area, we are lucky to have such a great mom and pop place with stellar service, food, managers, waitstaff and bartenders. The managers Stephen and Graci tonight, always so hospitable...

My best friend and I are always trying new places and since I am in Conroe and she is in Katy, Tomball is where we typically meet. She looked up some places and found this one and we decided to try it because the food photos looked amazing and they had a great variety of foods on the menu. When we arrived we noticed there was plenty of convenient parking which is always a plus.

Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly on the bar side which was great for us as we were also looking for cocktails.

Our server, Ryan, was amazing. Super attentive, friendly and offered suggestions. We ordered Connie's Queso to start and our server suggested adding the fajita and it was amazing! The food took a little longer to come out but our server, and both owners stopped by to check on us and let us know that had some larger tables and the food was in the works. We did not mind at all because the atmosphere and the friendly environment created by the team was what was most important to us. We also ordered the Colima's Coconut Shrimp and it was delivered hot, fresh and was super delicious.

As for the cocktails, my favourite was the Lemon Drop Martini. It was perfect every time. We did not try any plated food on this trip but plan to visit again so we can sample some dishes and we will definitely go for the breakfast. The owner sold us on that when he stopped by our table.
