Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Texas

We spent like $32 on our chicken with okra and biscuits with masked potatoes. The potatoes had only enough gravy for 1 person when the meal was supposed to feed 8. The okra was soggy and the chicken was still raw. We even cooked it for an hour on 350° and it was still bloody. When we went to the store to make it straight they gave us the biscuits that we were missing but never gave us our okra even though they said they would. The lunch crew on Tues JULY 7th had it going on! Very friendly and fast service with a smile! We normally don't get chicken fried steak at a fast food place, inside of a gas station... but there was a special for 4.99 a meal. We had 3 people with 3 orders. One with a side of mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and two with okra. Steaks were made fresh and served hot. Option of white or brown gravy. We were in Tyler for a doctor’s appointment and stopped to get a snack between two adults and two children. We were discussing getting 4 chicken strips, and the meals came with 3 or 5 strips. The manager was there working and he asked the employee to give us a 5 piece meal - then he said, “Give them two 5 piece meals!” We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals and were amazed and so surprised at the kindness and generosity of the manager.
