ALDI — Local services in Tyler

I'm from California and we do not have Aldi there so I can only compare it to a Grocery Outlet. They do have some interesting things to buy there probably because of the German influence. I talked to a couple born rasied Texans and they love it better than Walmart. I do like the store because they have almond and coconut milk for like a $1.25 less then a store like Brookshire's. I have tired a small pork butt there and it was fine didn't get sick. I would say give it a try there may be something there that would like!e to try. I forgot be sure to bring a quarter with you because you need it use their shopping carts.

Update:. There is no update because nothing has changed. I mean they shift the shelves but...

I think Aldi provides better selection of certain groceries than Walmart and Super 1 Foods in Tyler. I purchase regularly apples, oranges, bread, and milk from Aldi - the quality and price beat other stores in the area. The store is clean and small - you can go in and out in 15 minutes. You need to bring your own quarter for the shopping cart which you get back when you return the cart to the cart-line. Of course, you can always give a quarter to another shopper who is returning the cart and take that shopper's cart - this is a new kind of barter and it took me some time to get the hang of. Love Aldi's, love the prices, this store was clean and we'll stocked. The problem for me is, I buy from impulse rather than need. Went in for very specific holiday food items and came out with enough everyday items for rest of the year. Including, lunch meats and a variety of cheeses, crackers, stuffed olives, marinated artichoke hearts, fresh fruits and vegetables, and yes wine, all at affordable prices. We found that the prices were competitive with Sam's Club but you don't have to buy a case to get the cheapest price. Remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart and bags for your groceries.
