Just had a pretty atrocious customer service experience with Freddy's. I went through their drive thru and ordered 2 burgers and a fry. Once I got home, I realized that they only gave me 1 burger and the fries so I called into their store. I had to call 5 times before somebody picked up. When they finally picked up and I got to speak to the manager (Nicole), she didn't even apologize for the incident. She just said that they couldn't deliver the burger to me and that they couldn't issue a partial refund so my only option was to come back to the store to pick up the burger. Freddy's is 15 minutes away from me so that's a big inconvenience considering it was the middle of the workday and it was their fault to begin with. When I got to the store, the staff was pretty short with me, and you could tell they were annoyed with me. The girl at the drive thru window gave me a half-hearted "sorry" and then said that they would remake my burger with fries. And of course, once I drove off, I looked in the bag and realized they gave me the missing burger but forgot the fries. So, it would seem they didn't learn from their mistake. Overall, I had an impressively bad customer experience at Freddy's. The manager and staff's non-apologetic attitudes/unwillingness to try to right their wrong bothered me more than them forgetting the burger and the fries. Will definitely think twice before coming here again.
TLDR: Doublecheck your drive thru bag at Freddy's lest you have to experience their poor customer service. Or just don't go...
Read moreAs an HR professional, I am highly upset with the service I received through the drive thru. David was extremely unprofessional and I am appalled at how I was treated. My first complaint is when I received my $50 order, the fries were very cold. I never send food back but these fries had not a hint of heat on them. When I brought this to David’s attention, he stated “ well the drive thru line is long, so yea”. And then proceeded to roll his eyes. He then asked with an attitude if I wanted new fries. I advised it was okay because I knew the line was long, I didn’t want to cause any further wait for the other customers. When checking my order I also realized we were missing one of the meals we had ordered. I told David we were short an order and he looked as if I was speaking another language. I waited and then he handed me the four drinks and the mini brownie concrete. I have never ordered a concrete ice cream treat before so I was unaware of what to expect. When he handed it to me, I asked if this was the brownie concrete and he said “yea, that’s what you ordered”. By this point I’m irritated with his attitude and I requested a manager. David then proceeds to leave the drive-thru window, and in sight jump up and down and say I’m crazy. First visit, my order is completely wrong. Ordered a large#1, received a medium #4. People make mistakes, I can live with it.
Second visit, order a large #1 again with a custard cookie. This time they forget the custard cookie. Normally I wouldn’t make a big deal over $2, but I remembered this was the second time I didn’t get what I paid for so I go inside and ask for it. Manager kinda shrugs me off and mumbles “You can get one from there”, and points to a fridge with some deformed custard cookies that look like they’d already melted halfway before & been refrozen. No vanilla in sight but I was already irritated and didn’t feel like pressing the issue with someone who didn’t care so I left.
This time, the third visit, I order the same thing again but I end up sitting in the drive thru for an extra 15 minutes after I paid at the window because my order wasn’t ready, just to receive my order in the wrong size (again) and COLD… but at least it was all there this time & I didn’t have to circle back.
I hate complaining but there’s always something wrong when I come here, at 2 PM during the weekdays no less. I know it’s just fast food but it’s disappointing....
