Island Snowball — Restaurant in Texas

I would give this 5 stars however, the service / wait time was ridiculous. We literally waited over 40 mins for 2 snowballs. Two people were working and only 1 girl was doing the work. The other was trying to figure out the orders and I feel like if you know as a business that you are short-staffed and the wait time is going to be LONG then you should at least let your customers know when ordering. There were people going to get refunds, and it wasn't even a lot of customers because they didnt want to wait any longer. Just slow service for a Sunday afternoon. BUT the snowball itself was good! It was a drive for us to get there to begin with but TikTok had us wanting to go try this place out, maybe down the road my family and I will be back and the service will be a little faster. When I walked into Island Snowball it was super clean and there were so many options to choose from, even flavors I’ve never seen before. I decided to try something new, “biscoff cookie”, and I am so glad I did. It was sweet, soft, and the presentation was so pretty I almost didn’t want to eat it. We also ordered beignets, and wow, this was only me second time having them but these were INCREDIBLE. Warm, soft, sweet, and beautifully presented. Really sad to say that I did have some expectations for the place and some previous expectations on shaved ice itself. Sadly, my the waitress(there was only one person working) hand the snow cone to me and it was literally dripping. I know it's ice but genuinely half of the cone was already liquid when I tried it. The overall flavor was okay but the texture was just completely ruined my how melted it was. Pretty disappointed. Anyways, I took the liquid half back home and I'll just put it in the freezer.
