J&J wings & seafood — Restaurant in Texas

If I can go on and on by how disgusted and upset I am with this restaurant I would . I ordered a 2 piece chicken and fries today while on my lunch break. Yes it was fresh but when I took a bite out of the leg blood just started flowing from my chicken. I then called up to the restaurant and told them about the concerns and issue I had regarding the chicken. The lady who answered the phone stated to come back up there so they can replace my order. When I ask for the manager the phone was disconnected. So I drive back up there on my last 10 mins of my break. I told her I don’t want the chicken due to the fact that I am scared to eat it as well as it can make me sick. The lady at the front desk handed me a new plate once I gave her the old plate and gave me a spoon to cut into the chicken. I only have 5 mins left on my break at this time so I had to go . My appetite was loss for the rest of the day . I had to go to the Er due to feeling sick and having abdominal cramps as well as diarrhea. I do not appreciate the way the matter was handled. I will probably have to contact lawyers due to the fact I have gotten a illness from eating here . If I were you I would check anything I get from here before leaving. There’s a picture attached below up the crust of the chicken. They didn’t offer to give my money back or anything . I will be calling back tomorrow.

They never have a manager present instead of settling with me and apologizing, they advised me to contact a lawyer but it’s fine I will definitely be doing that. I ended up in the hospital and missing work but...

If there was an option to rate 0 stars, I definitely would; seeing how both times I visited this establishment, I was unable to order food. The first visit, me and my boyfriend were turned around 15 minutes before the closing time by a young lady telling us that she was closed and not serving at the time. I mean, if you guys really close at 8:45, you should’ve put that on the sign. The second time I visited (two minutes ago) there was a guy sweeping the floor upon our entry. There was no “hello, welcome, I’ll/a cashier will be with you” and there also was not another soul in sight, aside from the cook who stared at me and my boyfriend while she was on her phone. As we turned around and began to leave-because it was obvious that our business was unwanted yet a second time, the sweeping man only then put the broom down and asked if we wanted to order, looking confused. I’m assuming that after we’d already left the building he alerted a cashier because as we pulled off, a lady finally came to the counter. DO NOT EAT HERE! they don’t want your business. they also don’t have very much of a selection...

I truly don’t believe this guy is getting the credit he deserves… Honestly when I first approached the store I was a bit skeptical because I didn’t smell anything but I decided to still give him a try, God I’m so glad that I did. Let me say this I’m a huge food critic because I think my food is one of the best around town. He sure showed me! I told him I want my fish fried hard and my boys wanted the lemon pepper wings boy I’m speechless. The food was seasoned and fried to the Gods understand that my words aren’t enough. I FEEL LIKE THE LINES SHOULD BE TO THE BACK OF THE STORE!!! To season and fry the food the way this guy does should be studied! This was my first time and it surely will not be my last. I will definitely be telling anyone and everyone I pass about this place. The pictures do no justice. Sorry for the long review but I have to tell yall.
