We had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional personalized service from the owner and her son at Pho 88, truly adding a special touch to our family dining experience. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel like honored guests.

The owner, with her warm smile, personally approached our table to ensure everything met our satisfaction. Her passionate knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine was reflected in the recommendations she provided, elevating our culinary adventure.

The son, with attentive and friendly service, paid attention to every detail, anticipating our needs. His willingness to explain the dishes and share stories about the family's culinary tradition created a welcoming and personal atmosphere.

The owner and her son's attention not only highlighted the authenticity of the place but also added a human touch that made our visit memorable. The genuine connection they established with us spoke not only to their professionalism but also to their dedication to providing a unique and personalized experience.

At Pho 88, the owner and her son's attention is not just a service; it's a testament to the passion and commitment this family puts into every detail, turning a simple dinner into an experience we will...

This place used to be my family’s favorite until recent experience. The girl with the glasses (Guessing it’s one of owner’s daughters) gives out false information about their open status. First time I called a week ago she told me they were not open for dine in so I had ordered for pick up and when I went to the restaurant to pick up the food they had customers dining in and the owner lady told me they were opened for dine in so I told her the girl told me they weren’t. So she told me to come dine in next time and apologized I was given a wrong info. So I yesterday I went with my son to dine in this time to celebrate mother’s day dinner. When we got there and sat down the same girl said they were NOT opened for dine in AGAIN! Didn’t even bother saying hi or saying sorry what so ever. But I saw some empty plates and bowls on the table looking like they had some customers who had dined in. Now I’m not sure why this girl keeps lying about the dine in but it sure made us feeling like we don’t feel welcomed and we’ve been going to this place for a while. All I want to say is that they have lost a good customer. This is Not the way you treat your regular customers! I do not recommend this place!!!...

We moved to Katy from the Southwest part of Houston (Alief), where there are tons of great Vietnamese restaurants to choose from, and have been searching for a go-to Pho place closer to our home. We're happy to say that we've found our spot!

The restaurant seems like it is family operated with limited staff, so you may have to wait a few extra minutes on occasions to order or receive your food, but it's all worth the wait. Many customers were picking up their call in orders, so they knew what the business was.

The Pho broth is hot and has a nice deep flavor to it. It's not overly salty or sweet and has a perfect balance of savory flavors. The noodle to broth ratio is good, and last but not least, the meat is tender and delicious. The worst thing is trying to bite through meat gristle and fat while trying to enjoy your Pho, but this restaurant knows how to prepare and provide high-quality meats. The Vietnamese egg rolls were also on point, nice and crispy with good flavor.

They have many regular customers from what we could see, and they've just made a new frequent diner. I haven't tried any of the other dishes on the menu besides the Pho, but we'll definitely be back to give the other...

Weird experience. I went in by myself for dinner. My first pho place in Houston. No one even gave me a table. No one came to take my order. I sat 10 minutes and called them from my table to their delivery phone number and they saw me after that. Then they say sorry and come to me. They then take order. Photo usually takes 5-7 minutes to prepare and deliver. It is considered fast food. After 25 minutes of ordering a bowl of pho, I walked up to the front and asked them what was going on!!? They then said sorry to and disappeared. 10 minutes later they arrived with my bowl of Pho!!! Basically I got my bowl of Pho after 35 minutes of ordering. They were more busy serving pick ups. The older server lady was however sorry at the end when they realized what I went through and tried to appease me later. The pho was good. Great broth. Tasty. But no one should wait 40 minutes to get a bowl of pho after entering a restaurant.

It’s has to have been atleast 10 years since I’ve last was here. I cannot believe the first Pho place I’ve ever been to still be as good as the first time I ever experienced it. I lived down the street from this spot and fell in love with the at home sorta hole in wall experience. It is on the smaller size in terms of space but you can have a party of 4-6 and find seating if it isn’t too busy. Also you walk to the counter when you’re done and ready to pay. My typical order which I got this time consisted of shrimp spring rolls, #.406 beef pho with eye round and meatballs, and a pork bahnmi. I cannot praise the the bahn mi enough! I didn’t remember how much it slaps (taste like paradise). I really enjoyed reliving old memories here. All the food was great! Peanut sauce was also superb! Give this little business some love and enjoy some good Viet food.
