Absolutely the WORST BAKERY IN THE WORLD. I placed an order on a Wednesday afternoon for my daughter's graduation cake. I thoroughly described the cake, and my daughter showed them a picture of what she wanted. They assured us both that they could do it and would have it ready for a Friday night 8pm pick up. They charged me $120 because the cake was supposed to have a black fondant graduation cap on top. When I went to the store Friday at 8p to pick up the cake it was NOT READY. The woman asked me could I come back at 6am Saturday morning. I told her No because my daughter's graduation was at 8am and it would not be enough time for me to do all of that. She called her cake decorator 6 times and then told me after 30 minutes hat her mother was going to fix the cake and could I come back after 9:30p Friday. I reluctantly said ok and went into the 99 cent store to kill time. When I got back they had put a handmade black cardboard hat on my daughter's cake, along with gold Madi gras beads for the tassle. It was so late by then so I just took the cake. When my baby saw that cake She Was Crushed... it was bad enough that she didn't have a regular celebration like she saw with her older siblings...BUT she also had to HAVE HER GRADUATION CAKE LOOK LIKE A 2 YEAR OLDS ART PROJECT! The worst part was the cake was wet and for the record, we DID NOT ORDER TRES LECHES... The cake was horrible it tasted like soggy, dry, bread... it wasn't sweet at all. It was so bad that a family friend's 3 year old made a face of wanting to vomit when she bit into it. Whatever you do DON'T EVER BUY A CAKE FOR YOUR SPECIAL ONCE IN A LIFETIME MOMENT from PANADERIA TIEERA CALIENTA on Fry Rd next door to 99 cent only... unless you are ready to BE ANGRY, DISAPPOINTED AND THROW UP FROM HOW...

I ordered a cake for my son's 1st birthday party. I chose this place because of reviews. I should've followed my instinct & just ordered somewhere else. Would've saved me 2 trips, money, and heartache. I went in a few days before the scheduled party to place my order. I stood there with my almost 1 yr old in my arms for 20 minutes before someone came to helped. Mind you there was a few employees standing around and wouldn't even acknowledge me. Montse came to take my order she was very sweet and was taking pictures of what I wanted on the cake. She was texting with the cake decorater I'm assuming. Theme was the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Made my deposit & was on my merry way. Come Saturday, the day to pick up my order. Again stood there waiting to get acknowledge & helped. One register open & it was busy & the line was pretty long. No sense of urgency. Finally was able to get my order and when I opened it, I instantly wanted to cry. The colors were incorrect the lady didn't care, she was very dismissive. I was so upset that I paid $110 for the cake & a few other bakery products & walked out. I will never be back. To them it doesn't matter because their business will keep going & that's great however the disappointment they caused for my son's 1st bday cake wasn't fair. Im giving 5 stars because The bread is delicious, fresh, and at a good price. This is the best bakery in Katy and I'm so glad they opened it here. Their bolillos are so good! We always order them here for our parties. I've ordered up to 300 pieces and everyone at the party asks where I get them from. My favorite is the Rosca de Reyes in January 6th! ( Kings bread) so good! I will say that the ladies at the cashier have ZERO knowledge of what customer service is! Some of them are rude, the others just seem like they hate to be there, they just talk amongst each other when they are at the cashier. I have been here so many time and I can count the times that I have been greated or thanked. I don't want them to kiss my butt but they have to understand that for people to want to come back they also play a big role in the success of the business. The baker's do an amazing job with the delicious bread, but these ladies just don't care, which is sad because when they get new customers that are not familiar with a Mexican Bakery and receive a horrible customer service, they will not come back and they will tell...
