We came in today for our lunch break and had probably the poorest experience in a Jack in the Box ever. There was no one to greet us or take our order. All the lady's in the kitchen just looked at us standing at the counter for almost 10 mins. When someone finally came to take our order it was very difficult to place our order. Seems as if she was unfamiliar with the menu or specials. I amlost had to come over the counter and touch the picture of what I wanted. Once she figured out what I wanted I realized she didn't know how to use the cash register. She yelled for help I believe in Spanish then walked to the drivethru register and came back with a total. She then proceeded to take my bank card completely out of my view around the corner to the drivethru register. I also believe she tricked me into getting a medium combo by saying they only had medium or large. Once I paid I proceeded to get my drink. The freestyle coke machine which was in desperate need of a wipe down or cleaning only had 2 flavorsor drinks. I am not a fan of Mellow Yellow or Caffeine free coke so I waved down an employee and asked if they could help me with a dr pepper. They walked behind the counter with my cup and came back to say they were out. The employee then yelled for I believe a manager in a red shkrt out of her office. She met us at the counter and appeared bothered that she had to leave her office. She then walked away to fix the freestyle machine. I just wanted a dr pepper since my food was already on the counter getting cold. Went she returned she had about 12 or so cartridges for the coke machine and said it was gonna take awhile. We could tell she was having unaware of how to replace cartridges in the coke machine. I then asked for a refund cause both my food was cold and I could not wait any longer to get the drink I paid for. My lunch breaks are timed and I do not have the time to put up with unprofessional, untrained staff laziness. If the machine was out of one maybe 2 flavor I could understand but the machine was bare and only had 2 flavors available. By this time the employee in the red shirt was visibly irritated and made it very clear to me when she very rudely and almost relieved told me she would be glad to refund me my money. She stormed passed me to get to the register and said aloud to another employee in Spanish "que se vallan a la verga" she then demanded I give her my recipet. She snatched it then tried to throw my money at me but I insisted that she count it out. She then refused to give me back my recipet so I could take the survey. And infront of customers pushed the food I gave her back toward me saying "you can have the food or you throw it away" as if I was complaining to get a free meal. I can't speak for the day crew, but the night crew at this location has completely turned the place around. The lack of customer service I previously complained about has been addressed, due largely in part to the introduction of new management and new staff. Wait times, in my experience, are finally on par with every other fast food establishment. The food quality is substantially higher, largely due to the fact that it is being prepared correctly this time, and most importantly, order accuracy is finally back to where it should be. Considerable effort has been put into turning this location around, and it shows.
I hate having to do this, but this experience was truly the worst I have ever had from any establishment. The food I was given wasn’t even a joke, that’s too light. The tacos were genuinely inedible. Completely soaked in grease, and so far from being crispy that they fell apart in my hand. The chicken sandwich I was given was not even in the same ballpark as what I ordered. I was given a grease-soaked “chicken” patty, two pieces of wilted iceberg lettuce, two slices of soggy tomato and the wrong bun. I ordered a Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club, and didn’t receive the bacon, the ranch, the cheese, or even the chicken if we’re being honest here. The staff was so far from being friendly, attentive, or even remotely interested in their job, it wasn’t even funny. I understand what it means to be at a job you don’t enjoy. But the first rule of being a part of the workforce is to never make that obvious to the customer. I did not even receive the correct amount of French fries, as my entire order was lumped into one box. The hamburger was the only thing even remotely edible, but for the amount of time it took to prepare my “food”, the temperature was completely unacceptable. The tacos were genuinely cold, the French fries were lukewarm at best, the hamburger was lukewarm, and the chicken sandwich had the consistency of a microwaveable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. I return again Thursday, November 6 at 3:30pm and the staff here completely opposite from Sunday with running the business. COMPLETELY OPPOSITE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY. Please retrain the male and female that spoke over the intercom to take the orders.
Update: May 4th, 2023 @ 8:16pm the staff at this location is unprofessional, inexperienced, rude, and behaving as if she already is short tempered. The female lead or manager that is tall and looks like a male needs to be retrained on how to communicate. Short tempered behavior can lead to short tempered reactions from someone having a bad day. RETRAIN THE EVENING STAFF THAT WAS ON SHIFT IDENTIFIED ON THIS DAY AND TIME! She lost her temper and gave the microphone to another staff since she couldn't remember what was being mentioned through the drive through. P.S. the day staff at this location is a completely different experience since they are all trained professionals that do not bring their personal issues and vent them to the customers in a rude way. Please find staff that reflect the day shift employees because your evening crew needs retraining.
This location needs support all the way around. Machines go down, run out of ingredients, staffing is short, and there is always a issue that occurs. The staff working there are excellent.
