La Crawfish Richmond TX — Restaurant in Texas

I placed a takeout order today where I wanted to try the garlic Noodles, chicken wings, and salt toasted shrimp. Let me start by saying the wings are amazing. They give you the option to add extra sauces on the side for an additional fee but those did not make it in the order despite me payinh for them, and being assured everything was in the bag. The Garlic noodles were tasty. I asked for no sausage but that also didn't happen. When I called the restaurant to ask if there was pork in the sausage, I was placed on hold for 7 minutes while she took other orders and never came back to the phone. Lastly, the salt toasted shrimp was a tragedy! That is one of my favorite meals and it looked like it was fried and prepared the same as the chicken. It was so over cooked you can't even peal it. There were no caramelized onions or jalapenos, only 3 burnt green onion sprigs. This was horribly prepared and executed. I was given a 45 min wait time for these items to be prepared which is odd cause the restaurant was empty. The staff was all very polite but they definitely have some kinks to iron out. I wish them the best Update* I tried to give this place another chance but they just cannot get it together. Then mess up my order every time. When I tell them what's supposed to go in the order which you would think they'd know, they argue with you only to learn they were wrong. This...

I was really interested in trying La Crawfish out because I like sea food and Crawfish. I went today to order lunch and had a valid coupon for a buy one meal get one free. I presented the coupon to the staff as the instructions said and the gentleman said my coupon from there website was not valid. Even though the coupon said valid February 27 witch was today and was told he would call the owner witch he didn't. While I was talking to him, I guess I was not important because he then roudly walked away without call to verify the validity of there coupon. I was really looking forward to trying there restaurant out and if I liked there food would have had a lot of repeat customers see that I am a local business owner. Now they have lost my business and alot of word of mouth business because of lack of respect towards the customer and not honoring there promotion of advertising commitment to there customers. Need to clean your business up it was pretty dirt and Need ac it was hot as hell inside. If you want to make it in the food industry you need to step up your game or you will be out of business before you know it, just a friendly suggestion one business owner to another. You just lost thousands of dollars in one customer not including all that I would have referred to you in the future if the experience would have been good. What a shame I love supporting...

Local Spot for Crawfish in Richmond

I’ve visited La Crawfish in Richmond, TX a few times, and overall it’s a solid spot for seafood lovers. We love to support local, eat local, and shop local, so this place has always been on our radar.

The food has been awesome in the past, especially their crawfish and classic Cajun dishes. However, on our most recent visit, it seemed like there may have been a change in ownership, as the food was just okay compared to previous experiences. While still tasty, it didn’t quite hit the same level of flavor we’ve come to expect from them.

The restaurant itself is casual and welcoming, and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable. The portions are generous, and there’s a good selection of sides and drinks to complement the seafood.

Despite the small dip in quality on our last visit, La Crawfish remains a great option for those looking for Cajun-style crawfish and seafood in Richmond. I hope the new ownership continues to improve and bring back the amazing flavors we remember.
