Edit 2: we recieved an email saying we would be refunded. At least there's that but I'm still very disappointed with how this was handled. This jack is only a 5 min drive from our house but may seriously consider going further if this kind of behavior continues.
To start, we frequent this jack a couple times a month. There's been a few hiccups here and there but over all nothing too terrible. That escalated today. My husband stopped to pick up breakfast for me as a surprise (yay) and had done the order via mobile app as we have done many times. When he arrived they told him they didn't have the order in their system and suggested he may have sent it to the old mag location. It happens so he checked and it said no he sent it to the right one and they told him tough luck basically because it wasn't showing in their system. He showed them the mobile receipt and that he had already paid but again they told him there was nothing they could do and didn't make the food. My husband rarely gets fired up over things but he was proper mad. He had stopped by again in person after picking our son up from school to speak to a manager but said she was not helpful and told him again that there was nothing she could do. She was dismissive like he was wasting her time and she didn't want to deal with it. He had the receipt to show he paid and they refused. To our knowledge there is no way to request a refund through the app so not only did they refuse to make the food, we are out the money it costs. It's not bank breaking amounts but seriously? I feel cheated like they stole from us. Again it's not bank breaking amounts but to be so flippant when he had proof he paid and all. Its just unreal to me. We will continue to try and reach out to upper store management about the issue and the shift managers attitude but sadly I don't expect much to come from it. Will update if management reaches out.
Edit: we already filled out the contact form on their website and recieved an email that it would be sent to the proper GM/Management team so...
Read moreThe customer service is terrible. I got a shake, it tasted like ink or strong medicine, almost as if there could have been something wrong with the machine. The 3 or 4 ladies at the drive thru window spoke English but not good enough to comprehend the context of what I was saying. I told them that the strawberry shake did not taste right and that there could be something wrong as if it was with the machine . One of them proceeded to tell me that that is how it’s normally made. Then another one of the ladies came with an attitude and was rude. I explained to her AGAIN that the shake did not taste right like there could be something wrong with the machine but they thought I was just complaining as if I just didn’t like the shake. Thats ridiculous because I ALWAYS get that shake and it never tasted filthy like that. I told her that she was not understanding but she insisted she did. She was being defensive because she was probably thinking I was being condescending due to her being Latino when that is not the case. I am also a person of color (black) and the way they were so rude makes me think they were a little prejudiced because what is the attitude for? They continued to gaslight by saying that they have been selling shakes all day and there hasn’t been a problem, which is probably a lie. As I was getting a refund, the one rude lady was said “nobody has complained but you” in a smart attitude . My experience was completely uncalled for, I was just trying to tell them that something was wrong with the shake so maybe they could the manager do the machine could get fixed. To verify that I was not crazy, I went to another jack in the box and the shake tasted PERFECT. So, from now on, I’ll be going to that other jack in the box instead. Date: 8/31/22...
Read moreJack in the Box is hands-down the best fast food place there is. With their level of variety in the pure tastiness of some of their food even their midnight snack style food is unparalleled. Sometimes you just want something cheesy and gooey or a hearty breakfast and this place delivers on both counts. They're wakey bakey hash is the greatest thing to happen to breakfast since the double sausage Burger. Unfortunately they keep discontinuing it other than that best breakfast I've had. I'm on days where I don't feel like having sausage is always there brunchfast menu which is fantastic although it does seem to take them a lot longer to grill a chicken breast then the competition. Acceptable compromise though as that is the best brunch style meal I think I've ever had. Definitely my favorite place I've taken to going to Jack In The Box almost every single day for breakfast trying something new...
