So this was my first time trying Trill Burgers. When trying a new second location I always go in with a little bit of skepticism. Reason being many times I have come to find that subsequent locations are not as good or have the same quality as the original. Since I have not tried Trill Burgers first location this had to be my introduction. First I was impressed on how fast the line moved in the drive through even though there was a decent sized line on the inside and out. So kudos for the efficiency and lack of a wait. The service was fast and pretty good I just wish there was at least a smile from the employee working the drive through. Make me feel like you appreciate my business. We tried the OG combo and the Lil OG vegan combo. I was surprised that we got the same amount of fries and the same size drink for both combos. That was some real value there. It smelled really good so that was a good sign. The fries were really good. I really appreciated the crispy outside and the soft inside. The OG burger was really tasty, and the bun was super soft. I liked the secret sauce I just wish I had a little more grilled onion. The patty was seasoned well and not overpowering like I have heard in the past. The vegan patty tasted familiar but it was also really good. Overall we enjoyed the taste and made the decision to place Trill Burgers on our short list of good burger joints in Houston. Thank you for opening on the north side closer to our home. I will...

This was my first time visiting Trill Burgers in Spring, TX. I’d heard about them back when I lived downtown but never had the chance to visit the original location. Now that they’ve opened one in Spring, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to finally try it out.

Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired.

First off, the drive-thru speaker didn’t work—which wouldn’t have been a big deal if there had been a sign letting customers know. Instead, like me, several people just sat there waiting to be greeted, unaware nothing was going to happen. After about 10 minutes, I pulled up to the window and mentioned it to the employee. She brushed it off with a simple “OK,” which honestly rubbed me the wrong way.

I waited a bit for fresh burgers to come up, which I didn’t mind—hot food is always worth the wait. But when I finally bit into the burger, I was extremely disappointed. It was salty, dry, and drowned in sauce—probably in an attempt to make up for how dry it was. I could only get through half of it before giving up.

I did order the Arnold Palmer, which came in a huge half-gallon container. At $6.50, it’s a bit pricey for a fast-food spot, but I genuinely enjoyed it. I’d rate the drink a solid 4 out of 5.

All in all, I doubt I’ll return for the burger and fries unless it’s the only option open. Definitely not the experience I...

Very nice gentleman was there to open the doors for us upon entrance and exit, was probably the only true highlight of the visit. He was very polite and well mannered, the other service members could learn a thing or two from him. We ordered 1 regular and one triple burger, a strawberry lemonade and an Arnold palmer. No sweet tea here which is a bummer and they were out of two of their fountain syrups. There was a line when we entered and service was slower. Their ticket printer was out as well as all tv monitors, so understandable. The burgers were good but the triple is very small and may as well be a single cheeseburger since they are smash burgers. The fries are good, I believe double fried but slightly over cooked and dry. The person in front of me, as well as myself ordered extra sauce on the side and neither of us received it and had to reproach the counter. We had to ask for attention, no one acknowledged us on their own. The person who helped didn’t say a word… They continued to have issues back to back with other customers as well. The lemonades were very good, comparable to what you would get at a fair, so I didn’t mind the price. The establishment was clean, quite chilly though. Overall, we did not find the value in the food ($50+ tip for 2 combos in a box), nor the customer service — so we will not be returning. Maybe for...
