Louisiana Fried Chicken and Seafood — Restaurant in Texas

Don't let the gas station location fool you into thinking this place isn't good. If you're looking for halal fried chicken that's hot, crunchy and made fresh, this place is pretty solid. I also ordered the fried okra, which was a very generous portion and very crunchy and delicious. It is located within a convenient store, which I did not mind, because it meant we had unlimited drink refills. The woman who worked there was so sweet, she made really good recommendations, and started my chicken order as soon as I called so I didn't have to wait too long for fresh chicken. This place is way better than Popeyes or KFC, though I was not a big fan of their cole slaw, I am picky about good slaw. Definitely good value...

Lady in drive-thru (Stella) STOLE MY DEBIT CARD! Lied and portrayed herself to be a regular employee when I found out that she (STELLA) is actually the store manager! This woman caught an attitude when my husband was talking very calmly to her. Whoever the owner is of this location needs to FIRE her immediately because she tried to argue us down when we didn't even state that she stole it but after finding out what I did today then YES im saying she did steal it! She even knew the color of which card was missing without us even mentioning which card it was because we gave her 2 card to use for 2...

I was really excited to see that a Louisiana fried chicken was closer to hone . What a disappointment! The food was old, the red beans and rice was apart white rice with a ketchup infused paste of beans. The bread not fresh. The cooking area was dirty and that should of been my signal to not eat here. But live and learn. Do your self a favor and save your $ and drive to a better Louisiana...
