Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Texas

I've been going to this location since they've opened. This time I walked in and seen a young lady by the name Jordan work about 5 customers by herself ( That was with frustration). That was the best thing about her. Between each customer she kept looking at her watch. Her co worker walked in from outside, Jordan told her she looked homeless ( I guess by the way she was dressed) but I actually thought the young lady looked alright and better fitting clothing than Jordan. I told Jordan what I want and she stuffed my quart with the wrong flavor. I seen her dump half of the icecream back in the tin container and threw away the other half. As she was getting another spoon, I seen her push a co worker out of the way and told her she was standing in the way. The other young lady laughed it off. When she was mixing my icecream I'd asked her to clean off the table because she got cookies and other color icecream in it. I only wanted mines plain. She says don't worry, a little food coloring won't hurt. The table had white, blue, brown and red coloring on it. I seen she didn't fill up my quart. I asked her to fill it up and she said she did. I opened it and had had to ask someone else to fill it up because she disappeared into the back. That explained the continuously eye watching her wrist for the clock. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND...

The Research Forest location is still the go-to location. It's not even close. While this location seems to be more than adequately staffed, the service was poor and the overall quality of their work fell way short of any other MSC we've been to. We were not asked if we were a Slab Happy member. They were out of Butter Pecan, which is unacceptable because there were 5-6 people working and no customers. While the staff was friendly, they were pretty clueless about absolutely everything and messed up all 5 of our orders. We've never had anything like this happen at the Research Forest location in The Woodlands... and we go 2-3 times a month. On the plus side, the Grand Parkway Market Place location sells cookies. I recommend hitting the good Marble Slab and picking your cookies up at...

Food was great, staff is nice. However, when we were leaving, a boyfriend of one of the staff members was blocking the door while he waited outside. I have a small child who was trying to get through the doors (there are two) and couldn't because the guy was standing in front of both. My husband said to my son to just go through and he didn't know why the man was standing there. The boyfriend then starts going off about how wrong is it he just wants to see his girlfriend and to go around him. He's then yelling at my entire family. I explain we were just telling my child to go around him but he's yelling at us even as we get into our car. He stared at us and went to go take up some counter space.
