Aug 26 Corporate has responded saying Tina was in the wrong. Aug 22 Corporate had to push the refund through. Full recording (started before we got in the store and finished once we were in the car after) was also sent to corporate. Aug 16 - Salad brought in, we were told we could not be refunded. We discussed with employee who contacted GM. (An employee encouraged a man to randomly get involved, this is when he was told multiple times to mind his business and when he tried to scream at my mom I stood in his way). Aug 11 - Salad ordered, picked up, we called location explaining what was wrong. GM was notified to put refund through, we were told it would be done. We were told to bring the salad back when we could. Edit: Tina called screaming at me and hung up the phone. This whole thing is a management issue. Do you know how easily this would be finished if you would refund the salad and not have allowed a random stranger to get involved? I have an audio recording of the entire incident. Read your yelp reviews. Tina is consistently an issue dating to 2017.

We are not coming back to your location. We want nothing to do with you all.

Also - again, YOUR staff (1 male and 2 females) harassed multiple customers several months ago, when we initially stopped coming to your location. They made fun of them to the point that someone else had to step in, and then they proceeded to make fun of that person.

YOUR staff are the problem. And very clearly your manager is too. THIS location is horrible compared to the rest. Used to come here all the time but the last 3 times (spaced out over months bc of their poor customer treatment) they completely screwed up our orders. Receipt is correct, salad is wrong. Multiple incorrect vegetables. Initially we thought it might be because we ordered multiple salads at once but this last time I ordered JUST my salad and lo and behold if it isn't wrong/missing things on the line items.

When my Mom had tried to return her salad 2 times ago (well over 4-5 months ago) two employees made fun of her to the point that another customer had to step in and say something about their behavior (laughing at the thought of returning a salad). My mom is not impolite and does not cause scenes - if anything she cowers under that situation and absolutely hates it. Shame on you all doing that to an elderly woman! That's so ridiculous when y'all can't even read your own orders correctly!!!

I, on the other hand, will have no problem calling out my peers for being incompetent and will call you out for treating elderly customers with such disrespect. You have no freaking right when you can't even read line items of vegetables fully written out. Please do us all a favor and go back to remedial reading and get out of the workforce. Cathy/Kathy needs to be fired. She was laughing when we finally were able to come to the location to return the salad and started involving another customer in our return (encouraging him by giggling and agreeing when he was complaining about the return taking a while). Nobody was yelling, corporate has the recording. We were told that we could not be refunded despite having called Monday evening. Only after asking for her to reach out to the GM did we get a "resolution" - which turned out to be a lie. The dude making comments was out of line. When Cathy and the man were called out she giggled more and didn't try to stop him from starting a scene. She's not equipped to work in customer service. Up until they started doing that everything was non confrontational and just a normal return exchange with us and the singular employee. She should not be working in customer service.

The vegetables they had out were in the wrong spots, people were already complaining when we showed up because one of the workers put the wrong vegetable in (Hey Raul this was you!!! We also we're there quietly for the olive oil debacle). Genuinely, your employees do not know the ingredients and...

In my experience working with a lot of restaurants this is by far one of the worst ones I worked with. The salads are not really that fresh well, being in any restaurant not a lot of veggies can be truly fresh but that just is how restaurants manage to operate. There certainly is a bias towards a lot of customers as in many restaurants would love to have preferably elderly Caucasian customers due to the amount of money they tip, this can also be seen in a lot of other restaurants near the area. Now talking about my work experience was an awful one when I was at this location, they pay was decent but considering I was still a high school student at the time it is important for them to find good people that could have worked for them. Every so often there would be a mess up with how the checks would process and most recent I went to go check if my W-2 form was in the store but they said I had to check online despite never receiving one email from the company. One could easily say I am writing out of spite for the restaurant but I genuinely enjoyed working at Salata just not their upper management/owner of the franchise. A lot has changes since the last time I went but the ingredients are the same food is bland and overrated. I would recommend to either learn to make your own salads and or wraps, the best ingredients in the store as of freshness has to be the Baked Salmon, Chicken, and the soups since they all are made fresh everyday to secure for the safety of their customers. As a work place experience as a first job or even as a steady job I would recommend to apply to the Whataburger or Five Guys nearby or any of the Strarbucks...

This place used to a great place to go and the last year management changed attitudes changed and service changed ...I ordered from here alot regardless but today will be the last time ever I placed order online and then went to the store and I asked if the Chipotle shrimp was spicy real spicy because they didn't have the regular shrimp on the menu but after a few minutes a lady came to window and said yes it's spicy and suggested I'm to late because the shrimp was all I can eat there but she kindly did say they can remake it so I was pleased I waited and then they asked if I can go park to let other cars come through and after a little more waiting went to check and my food was ready but they didn't even motion to tell me I can pick it up they just watched me through the window and when I wanted to ask if this was the plain shrimp the young lady slammed window in my face like if I was a bother to them like if I was in the way...I won't go back I promise that ...I won't go somewhere again that makes me...

First went to a salata in Dallas and was hooked. This one at grand marketplace is of course new and terrific. They have (10) 4 person booths as well as 12 tables in the middle to serve another 34 people. I've visited at odd times. Today it's 2pm, all the booths are taken and they are very comfortable. The folks come from memorial hermann, lots of ladies come for lunch with friends, the odd construction worker visits too. Love the huge fresh selection of ingredients. I always get a regular size salad for $10(it's gone up $2 due to bidenflation) then take home any leftovers for snack. Bright place, fairly quick service but no one comes out to check on patrons. Today it was busy on a rainy day. A little muggy inside, they needed AC to draw moisture from air. I like consistently fresh produce. Come for the healthy tasty food. Great addition to this area, something besides fast food.

Had a "small " salad, yea, Texas small! Then I went through the selection bar... by the time I finished, the salad was huge. Greens, reds, oranges, yellows and all the colors of the rainbow in between were present in my bowl. Chose the crab meat for protein and blue cheese - which I had to request double to a friendly server looking at her costs -I guess. The end result was a superb combination of flavors and texture topped with a herb vinaigrette. I was starving. Yet, I had a hard time getting to the bottom of the generous small salad. Will definitely return, hungry or not for a healthy and scrumptious meal. Oh yes, I will ask for 2 croissants next time around; you can see in the picture that I had to resist and leave enough until the last.

For anyone thinking of adding avocado to their salad, this is what a dollars worth of avocado looks like (I thoroughly checked the container thinking perhaps the chunks fell towards the bottom or were hidden, but there was only this). Also the take away container (I ordered online for pickup) was hardly full, my normal Salta location is the Vintage, and after this experience I won't be ordering from here again. Overall I'm just shocked someone knowingly and purposely placed this small chunk of avocado in there thinking that was acceptable. (And I rated 2 stars instead of one because the Tomato Basil soup was decent)
