September 8, 2017: Today I took my 30+ year old Omega watch (given to me by my father) to Shannon's Jewelry for repair. The watch had stopped and I assumed that it needed a new battery, although I didn't know if something else might be wrong with it as well. I was assisted by Aimee Hill who greeted me with a smile and was very attentive.
I assumed I would have to leave the watch for several days but Aimee surprised me and said she would take it back to the watchmaker right then if I could wait for a few minutes for his analysis. About 8-10 minutes later she returned with the watch in hand saying that it was in fact a dead battery and that the watchmaker had repaired it while I was waiting. I was stunned it was done so quickly. Aimee couldn't have been more professional and accommodating and Shannon's once again surpassed my expectations.
September, 2015: We had my wife's wedding ring remade for our 42nd anniversary and Debbie DeShazo professionally walked us through the process from beginning to end. She was highly knowlegeable, creative and accomodating about all the nuances of such an exercise which made the process stress-free for us. Her husband did an amazing job of designing exactly what we were looking for, but ultimately it turned out even more elegant and striking than either my wife or I imagined it might be. He is a very gifted jewelry maker.
After a lot of personal legwork, I can affirm that Shannon's was also very fair with me regarding pricing/offers on several pieces of fine jewelry that I inherited from my father. In addition, John Wren (owner) was extremely helpful and patient as he educated me about several very old pocket watches from my father. His help was greatly appreciated.
I would highly recommend Shannon's on all levels. My wife and I will be using them for all our jewelry needs...
Read moreWe’ve been shopping at this Shannon’s for about 2 years now. Each experience has been stellar.
While the store itself is beautiful and offers exceptional, gorgeous jewelry in a variety of price ranges, it’s the people that make this store special. Claude and Debbie are the owners and are usually there but their staff is amazing as well.
They have an excellent watch expert - Byron - which is how we first ended up at Shannon’s. We had a few repairs done by James who is personable, funny, and very nice. Cara is newer but her knowledge is impressive. Even the security guard Ricky is pleasant and professional.
But the standout star of the team for us is the manager, Nick. Nick is really why we keep shopping here. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, personable, professional, honest, and kind. He treats every customer well, regardless of their budget. He’s also a jewelry designer using the newest technology available to help create unique pieces for customers looking for something different.
At the core of this small, family owned and operated business is integrity, genuine care, and kindness reflected within their operations and staff. Every shopping experience has been pleasant, fun, and rewarding. You really need to check it out. They also have a phenomenal consignment section that rotates often and is worth frequent visits. We have purchased several consignment pieces and consigned some of our own.

Read moreBeing that it was my first experience at Shannon's Jewelry, it certainly was not my last! It began with the release for entry through two different locked doors which put me at ease right away. The thought of a security guard whose smile and cordial welcome ushered me right into the comfort of the very nice ambiance of the store was surprising as well. Suddenly, the pleasant greeting of one of the attendants asked to assist me. Though, the pieces of jewelry I saw was ravishingly beautiful (I had no time to see it all), I was amazed at the hospitality and service I received with what little business I had, yet was treated as if I made an insurmountable purchase. Truthfully, I am stunned at how nice the store is... From the front entry way, the ceiling to the floor design, the soft music, all the attendants, the really nice freebies, the workmanship and of course, owning a piece of the well-crafted jewelry is really an experience to have on your bucket list. PS... No one asked, nor paid me to say these things, and I'm not in no way affiliated with this company. I WISH!!!! As you can probably tell, I'm a writer. Go there, and you'll see I'm not a liar either....
