My Husband and I eat here often, but tonight one waiter on a Friday night. Not really a problem because we were patient on waiting. A young man in training saw we had been waiting and approached our table to start our order.we placed the complete order with him including our queso Appetizer. I ordered the combination number one asked if it came with rice and beans was told yes And I said I wanted soft corn tortilla on the taco and cheese enchiladas. A small frozen Margarita w/salt. My husband ordered the chicken Monterey Double rice no beans and a ice tea. While placing our order the Trainer interrupted him Which made me concern that our order may be wrong. We had chips and salsa then finally got Ice water and tea. I waited for my frozen Margarita and came with no salt and asked another person to salt the rim ...again took time receiving it. We received our appetizers And then our food came out a few minutes later. A few chpis in.. my husband's and my part of my meal that was the taco with the cheese puff on a flour tortilla.. wrong I asked for soft corn tortilla. I told the waiter I asked for corn and not flour and my husband asked for all rice. At this time the attitude was coming out and no you are not my friend. The waiter promptly said that the beans Are OK they're free and joy them I told him my husband does not like beans and he ordered double rice. At that point that's when he said I'm doing the best I can. Hey I get it but I'm not gonna pay for something I didn't order and I want to pay for the stuff I did order. All around poor and slow service you had plenty of other people standing around including the manager that I saw take out one tray of food and fix 1 frozen Margarita I had to ask him to come to our table to get togo containers. Told him of our experience and bless him he was so sorry. I strongly suggest don't sit on the 1st booth to the left, because They have a black cactus that's lights up that will blind you. Bottom line the worst service the worst experience not taken responsibility for their own actions we'll never come back and we go there quite often. And to be honest with you NO I did not tip the server not something I normally would do but the attitude and one thing after another was just enough! Wake up times are tough people have many of choices And mine is to never come back...
Read moreI don’t think we can give this place another chance unfortunately, we first tried it when it was recently opened and we took our family there , my nephew had spotted a roach inside their small plastic sign holder that was on the table , we laughed but got grossed out at the same time. We let them know and they took it . After that my family didn’t go back but we decided to because we understand that could have happened to anyone. We went a few times after that and in the last time of that I found a hair on my nachos . My husband doesn’t like to send stuff back or make people feel bad so we didn’t say anything and just didn’t eat it . After that we decided we were done trying it out . Well yesterday we had planned to go to a restaurant seconds away from this one but it was closed for Labor Day . We were hungry so we said I guess let’s go there . We order queso and immediately my son notices a long hair sitting on the queso I was done at this point , I was pretty upset that I made my husband send it back , they apologized but it’s just not ok , he was very kind because at the end of the day it’s not her fault . Do y’all not where hair nets ? Makes me wonder if this is the second time it’s happened to us how many other people have had this issue . I also felt this time the quality of food had gone down , the chips felt thin . My nachos looked diff and the beef smelled off . It’s unfortunate because we love the other Natalita’s but this one is down the street from us . We went and tipped her well still since she shouldn’t have to lose on a tip over the kitchen...
Read moreAuthentic, "old school," Mexican Food! Now, if you're from South Central Texas, you'll understand what that means. If you're not, well, the closest I can get to explaining it without authoring a novella is simply to say, go eat there. My personal favorite is the Chicken Molé. You can go Enchilada style or platter, and both are so authentic and delicious, you'd think you were in the family kitchen in your personal pueblita! When we go in, the service is outstanding (although it can border on overwhelming) but it is simply due to the excitement and enthusiasm of the newer servers. They almost always remember what our drink orders are down to the minutia, i.e., salt/no salt, frozen or rocks (if you drink). I go with family, so it is a lot of information. It's a great family oriented dining experience, and the 3rd installment of a family owned local chain of fabulous...
