Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Texas

This is the only Papa John’s I have ever enjoyed. The pizza here is delicious. I’m giving them 5 stars but that doesn’t mean they are without their problems. It’s how they resolved those problems (and how tasty their pizza is) that got them 5 stars. I’ve never had a problem with delivery taking too long from them. However, they are going through a labor shortage problem and I don’t hold that against them. I have had two separate delivery drivers (both new and one even her first day) completely mishandle the pizza and ruin it. The last one had the pizza carrier hunched over her back before handoff. As soon as the pizza was in my hand I could feel it ruined and all the weight to one side. All but a few slices from my 2 pizzas were ruined. But hey, what was left was delicious! The GM personally reached out and credited me new pizzas. The manager has been a pleasure to deal with every time. It’s unfortunate they are going through labor shortage pains but they get 5 stars from me for how they deal with...

Gave Papa John's another try after switching to Marcos, ordered at 6:50pm with a delivery time of 1 hour, after 1 hour called and person said it's almost here, after another 20 minutes called and got told our pizza was delivered to another house? Canceled order and thankfully refunded. Never ordering here again. Back to Marcos. Also when we talked to the manager we got many excuses, pizza being remade after it's on the way?... 2 drivers quit today.... We should Talk to Kate the GM.... Our driver made an honest mistake....

Please just tell us what happened the first time, your business issues have nothing to do with us trying to help your business with a 55 dollar order... It's 9pm now and going to...

Review Update 4 months later……yep this place still SUCKS. Terrible customer service

This place is new so of course, extend grace to get the employees and systems rollin. BUT my gosh…all my experiences have been terrible, wrong, and slow. Papa Johns App said pizza was done. Employee responds “well the app lied to you.” She kept stalling me saying it’s up next. I came back up twice and it was always a little longer/more excuses.

I was like ok? It’s been an hour for 1 large pizza and breadsticks on a Wednesday night.

Either way. Terrible service. Hope they get it sorted out but from now on I’ll be ordering pizza somewhere else and def a different location until then.
