The behavior of the owner's son at this restaurant was utterly unacceptable. I had placed an order for my family and was told that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. Arriving right on time, I was disappointed to find that I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. This was because the man working at the front desk, the owner's son, had forgotten to prepare two plates from our order and hadn't mentioned this to us.
Interestingly, we were the only customers at the time. The owner, an elderly woman, came out to question her son about his mistake. His response was to begin yelling at her in front of my family, treating her horribly and denying any fault on his part.
I intervened and asked him to stop behaving this way in front of my family and to show some respect for his customers, as he apparently lacked respect for his own mother.
Subsequently, I asked for a refund, but he denied my request, explaining that they are a family-owned business and do not offer refunds.
He then started yelling at my family, stating that it was not our business how he treats his mother. He added that customers patronize their restaurant for the food, not the customer service.
While the food here might be acceptable, the level of disrespect, the inappropriate treatment of a woman, the ignorance displayed, and the horrendous customer service all combine to make the overall experience thoroughly very unpleasant. Their food might be okay but the energy this food is created with is not recommended for anyone, have a bless day and hope this helps as a constructive review and also help customers see who's behind the...
Read moreBbq pork was delicious, pho was not my favorite but that’s just a personal preference. Nothing special, but I decided to leave a review because of an allergy issue. I had asked if an item contained egg and through the phone I was reassured by someone they didn’t. When I picked up, I asked who I assumed was the person in charge about the egg and he said, “like I told you already on the phone there’s no egg in it there’s not even cabbage” it felt dismissive but I told him I was worried about the wrap itself and he insisted it was just flour and water. After having hundreds of interactions with restaurants over the allergy, you kind of get the feel of who knows what they’re talking about and who doesn’t. My gut was telling me to inquire more or ask to see the packaging, but his dismissive attitude made me want to get out of there. Of course, when I got home I didn’t trust the rolls so I decided to test them out by simply holding them. Within 15 minutes I started to get hives.
Not my worst reaction by far, but it’s disappointing. Not sure if it was an issue of cross contamination, or the actual item itself, but I did mention it twice and explained the severity of my allergy. The attitude alone was enough reason to not revisit. Take your customers concerns seriously. There’s a reason people want to verify. Trial and error taught me to be overly cautious, but had i ingested it, it could’ve been a different story. Allergy education is not common knowledge, but if you’re in this industry the least you can do...
Read moreIf I could leave no stars I would , first time customer in this establishment and I’m disappointed. I sat at a table for about 6 minutes with no one to greet me . I can see a blond boy eating but no one came over . So I walked up and asked do I order at the register or how does it work . For dine in I was advised to wait . So I sat back down the server who literally looked at me like I was retarded advised I could not sit where I was seated due to it being a table for 6 . I advised there was a person who was coughing in the area she asked me to sit in and they literally told me it’s either move or you can’t order . I guess that’s how customers are treated when there’s no one but children in the front to “run” it. I heard lots of good things from this place but if that was my first encounter with this place , yea no I won’t...
