I have been to this location before and have never had any issues. In fact, I like going to this location after church because the food is always fresh, and it's not overcrowded. Now, they have kiosks to place your order. I placed it for dine in. When they called my number they gave it to me to go. I said ok, I'll still eat for here. Then, I checked my order, and my two-piece chicken was not spicy. Popeyes spicy chicken is red. You can always tell it's spicy because of the red seasoning. Like I said, I always go to Popeyes and order spicy. I asked the cashier that I wanted spicy, not original. He goes to the back, and an older lady and young man say that it is spicy. If I don't want that one, I can wait for the spicy. So he brings it back to me, and he repeats what I had already heard. So, I open up the chicken in front of him, and I question him, "This is spicy." It's not, but oh well. The problem here was that they ran out of spicy and made my order to go, thinking I wasn't going to see that it was original. I've worked for Popeyes a while back, so I know when it's spicy and when it is not. I was so disappointed because even that original chicken wasn't fresh. I even added the hot sauce, but it was a no for me. I will not be coming to this location again.
Pictures: I should have taken a picture before adding the hot sauce, but you can see the skin as...
Read moreAfter driving by this place and living down the street decided to give it a try. Sadly this chicken sandwich was completely flavorless although at least looked like the photo due to the amount of coating on the chicken to make it look lofty. Worst macaroni and cheese ever.
Their iced tea containers were placed in all places by the register, which made Access poor. You would think, these tea containers at the counter- right next to the register would be well tended to. Think again, no. They were completely empty and mislabeled on the spout.
How this place stays in business, I’m not sure. But this was one visit I put off since it’s opening on 2920 and now I know why. Like a one-hit wonder, this definitely isn’t winning any awards.
The teenagers they hire also need to be trained to smile and give better service. The one in the photo with the glasses never even said hello, ‘Thanks for coming to Popeye’s’ wouldn’t hurt to balance out the low quality...
Read moreCame in on Sunday, 1/6/19 and ordered a 9 piece mixed special with 2 large sides and 4 biscuits for $19.99, a chicken sandwich and the 3 redstick chicken strips. I had my dog in lap and didn’t check my order prior to leaving (as I normally would). Once I got home the chicken was old and obviously sitting out for longer than it should.
I called back to see if I can get fresh chicken and the General Manager tried to tell me that I should have asked for fresh chicken. Needless to say by this point I was Livid and still hungry. I drove back up and she still tries to convince me that the chicken was fresh and was only out for 30 minutes.
She was not apologetic and did not even offer a drink while I waited. This is unacceptable as quality customer service was not present on this day. While waiting a customer in the drive through came in to ask for her food as she was waiting for ten minutes for a chicken sandwich.
Do better Popeyes on 2920...
