Food is good as always but service has gone way down had to stand up n go refil my own water, drinks and fries, had to remind them what we ordered n then some food came out ice cold... And to ask for tip after that was just insulting, the waitress was no where to be found and it was not even packed, if it was i'd understand, there were maybe 15 customers total. Also we talked to the manger n she just kinda blew it off with "ill talk to her" next time ill just eat at home. Also food was not worth 50 it was worth 25 at best... Mcdonalds probably would have provided same amount of service at a better price... Im usually ok spending more at a restaurant where im pampared by the server for example our new favorite restaurant is kabuki hibachi sushi its more expensive about 95 and 120 after tip everytime we go, i dont mind it because its great and fun and entertains our son and the service is superb try them out first you wont regret it, you will regret eating at this red robins. Oh yea special shout out to chloe the waitress, thank you for making this a memory that will last forever on our 5 year anniversary dinner/birthday dinner.
Update .... they gave me $20, i honestly almost didnt return but i did they still seem short staffed also from what i can see they have the server... The one server... Read moreI have always had a great experience at Red Robin. I usually visit the location at the Pearland Town Center, where service and food are out of this world good. Today I decided to take my wife to the Red Robin at the Baybrook Mall. When we walked in I thought they might be closed. There was no Host to seat us. We looked all around and after a while the Host finally came around the corner. Her “I’m sorry you had to wait” was so no genuine that I thought maybe we should not have come in. Heather was our server. When we ordered I asked that my fries be hot and crispy. I also ordered a spicy Mango Margarita with a Patron shooter. When I got my drink the shooter was missing. Okay, this can happen. But when my fries showed up, they were warm at best and soggy. We mentioned it to Heather and she said she would get me some other fries. When she came back, she explained that she got the crispy and hot ones. Well, they were just as bad as the first ones. I told that, and said forget it, do not get me more. Her attitude changed immediately to I don’t care about this table. While we were sitting and waiting for the meal, a guy sitting up by the bar, stood up, turned around towards the bar, and stuck his butt in the air and flipped both middle fingers towards whom ever was serving at the bar. It may have been in fun, but it was disgusting. Needless to say our experience was not good. Read moreWe arrived and seated 6:05pm in apparently Matthew section. We watched him move all around to everyone but us. Spending extra time double checking the table behind us. 30 min at this table without so much as a Hello, drink, nothing.. I was committed to seeing how bad the service could get. Personally It seemed like it was a skin deep thing as im white and my wifes black and we are the only table in the entire place without anyone serving it and matthew seemed to go outta his way to have his back turned everytime he was at the table next to us. It was 2 min later for an astounding 32 min of waiting i got annoyed and went back to the front and asked to be seated in a different section. The guy in the front asked me what happened. I told him it's been 32 min and no one has even asked me what my wife or me want to drink, no hello, no f-u, literally just ignored. He seemed shocked and apologized the server we ended up with was very apologetic and said we can have desert and drinks on the house, I appreciate it.. mighty fine gesture but the manager that was made aware of it didn't even apologize or address the issue. Personally I think it's disgraceful that he's a server and seems to be that ignorant. It's probably good he didn't make our food he looks like the type to do something to it.
