From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the energetic atmosphere and lively music. The space was beautifully decorated with chic furnishings and stylish lighting, creating a trendy yet comfortable ambiance. Despite the crowds, my friends and I were able to find a spot at the bar with the help of the friendly and accommodating staff.
We started our evening with some drinks and appetizers. The bartenders were knowledgeable and skilled, and they expertly crafted our cocktails to our liking. We ordered the donut holes as our appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious. The dough was light and fluffy, and they were served warm with a dusting of powdered sugar. The perfect sweet treat to start our night!
As the night went on, the music only got better. The DJ played a great mix of old and new tunes, and the dance floor was packed with people having a great time. Despite the noise level, the atmosphere was electric and exciting.
Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great suggestions for entrees and drinks, and we were not disappointed. The food was expertly prepared, and the portions were generous. I particularly enjoyed the chicken and waffles - the perfect combination of sweet and savory!
The service at Bar Louie was impeccable. Our waiter checked on us regularly throughout the night, making sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our time. The bartenders were quick to refill our drinks and accommodate our preferences. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Bar Louie to anyone looking for a fun night out with friends or a cozy spot to grab a drink and some delicious food. The atmosphere is lively and exciting, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks are top-notch. Don't miss out on the donut holes - they...
Read moreI came with my girlfriend on March 3rd 2024 like we had many times before but this night was drastically different. We came in like always, sitting in our outside section. It took ages for us to catch the attention of a server and let her know we wanted 2 waters and a menu. Many minutes later, she brought the menu and no drinks. We eventually ordered food and alcoholic beverages for which she asked for our IDs. My girlfriend showed hers and I showed my ID from Mexico. I have never had any issues when it comes to showering my ID for the age and I have shown it here many times before as well and it was always accepted. The waitress claimed that they do not accept foreign IDs and proceeded to ask if we wanted to talk with a manager. We agreed because it was very confusing why the situation had changed from previous times we have been there. When the manager came he said it was a company policy and that he wished they could accept the ID because we’re so close to the border. Although we didn’t think that made much sense, we accepted the policy and continued to wait for our food. I then decided to use the bathroom while the service was taking so long and started to walk towards the bathroom. I was stopped by the gentleman at the front who checks IDs when it is past 9pm. (He never checked our IDs when we first sat down or the entire time we were there until that point. When I showed him my ID he said I could not go inside and as a matter of fact I couldn’t even be sitting outside. I don’t understand why, up until that point, I was able to sit out there and have my order taken. It is one thing to have a company policy, but it doesn’t make sense when it is not fully enforced by everyone. We ended up leaving without any food and drinks because that is...
Read moreLet's start from the beginning. We'd gone to BL the first night it was open. Food was on point, servers were awesome. Fast forward a year, food is 50/50 and service is 50/50.
Fast forward a year.... food and service is about 25 bad/75 good. We have consistent good burgers and thai flatbread.... so we come for 5$ burgers and half off flatbread.
Fast forward today. We hadn't been in about 2 months because we were too busy. We get there and sit near the bar. The sign behind the bar has SpongeBob SquarePants and information about $5 Burgers on Tuesdays. We look on the pamphlets on the table and it talks about 50% off of burgers.
Unfortunately, our favorite burger is no longer on the menu and our favorite flatbread is no longer on the menu. But we decide to make the best of it and go ahead and get a different burger and loaded tots. Service was 25%... burger was good, tots had 3 jalapeno slices and not enough cheese for the tots - no bigs.
So go to pay the bill and we point out the 5$ burger isn't noted on our bill. He says sorry and hell fix it. He comes back with an added coke to our bill (that we didn't have), and a dollar off the bill.... No 5$ burger. When we point it out he says they don't have that special anymore. So we ask to speak to a manager and point out the pamphlet and the sign behind the bar. He says he's sorry, blah blah blah.
Bottom line, inconsistent menu, inconsistent specials that no one seems to be on the same page with, and faulty advertising that's so convoluted that no one knows what's really on special. Top that with the only good food items being nixed and the servers being meh... We...
