This was mine and my husbands first visit to schlotzskys, decided to try something different for lunch. I ordered a specialty sandwich which had a picture so i knew what came on it and my husband ordered a bbq chicken and jalapeño pizza with no jalapenos. When we got our food my husband had onions on his pizza, we were not aware it came with onions so he went to ask one of staff in a red shirt (never got his name, asian man) if he could get it remade without onions because we didnt know it came with it. This man huffed, puffed and rolled his eyes and told my husband "well you should have said no onions" my husband replied "i didnt know it came with onions, how was i supoosed to know" the man said ok. He came to our table and said next time ask for no onions to the cashier. I said "how were we supposed to know it came with mo onions there's no picture or description or anything. He walked away. After the food was remade an asian lady in a red shirt came to our table and said "the cashier asked if you wanted everything and you said nothing about onions." First, the cashier never asked us that and second wouldn't one assume "everything" consisted of chicken and jalapeño, theres nothing that says onions. She continued to argue with me and be rude so I told her we didnt need to ask for no onions next time because there wont be a next time. They were very rude and not cater to customers...
Read moreGreat food, terrible customer service from the owner. My family and I eat there about once a week. I stopped there for lunch today and ordered my usual sandwich on ciabatta bread. When they brought my sandwich it was on rye, so I nicely asked if they could make it on ciabatta like I ordered. The woman manager came over with the incorrect sandwich and told me that "ciabatta is extra". I attempted to tell her that if I wasn't charged for it initially I'd be happy to pay the difference, but she cut me off mid sentence and went to the kitchen. 5 minutes later she returned with the sandwich, again stating that ciabatta was 50 cents extra, and the girl did not recall hearing me order it. She then gave me the sandwich and walked off. No attempt at an apology for making it incorrectly, she actually seemed quite put out that it had to be redone. Her only priority was to make sure that I knew that ciabatta bread was a whole 50 cents more. This is a good opportunity for her to learn some customer service skills: If an order s incorrect, be more focused upon the fact that a mistake was made, and subsequently correcting it, vs a 50 cent price difference. For what it's worth I did put 50 cents on the counter on my way out the door. I probably...
Read moreUnfortunately I have to give at least 1 star. However this place is rude the manager/owner is rude I work in the shopping center as well I park my car in what she says are her parking spaces. Which mind you non of the are marked. Now I don't park directly in front of her store either. She came out yelling and screaming that I HAD to move my car as her employees park in the back of the building. Well good for them. I'm NOT going to park in the back I'm sorry. I so not work for you. Then I give them alot of business as they are pretty much the only place to eat close by, well today after her yelling at me to move my car I go in to purchase a drink and she says to get out of her store she was not selling me anything. I ask for the corrperate number and she shows me a cup I take the cup to call the number and she snatched the cup from my hand. Um excuse me I don't think so. Horrible customer service to treat anyone like that. Will NEVER return to this location nor will any of my co workers they just lost ALLOT of...
