It was late and I just stopped by for 2 beers with my PTSD dog (The Gretchen). It was towards the middle of the week and there wasn't much going on or many people there so I'm sure the place is much more exciting when it's packed full of people which is pretty regularly as I drive by there frequently. I was glad to not have a big crowd there I just wanted some quiet and a few beers and it fit the bill. They were very welcoming to my service dog and I always appreciate that. One of the cooks actually fried up a few pieces of bacon for her and I was immensely grateful for that as I'm sure she was! Lol! It was very kind and thoughtful and exactly what I look for when I go to any place of business for any type of service. We were both treated like one of the family.

Great neighborhood bar and grill. Comfortable atmosphere, clean bar, clean food prep area. Restrooms are clean. The people are friendly and welcoming. There are 3 pool tables, dart board games, jukebox and room enough to dance if the feeling hits you! We had a grilled chicken salad, a cheeseburger with fries and the mac and cheese balls. They were all very tasty. The cheeseburger was juicy and they used a beautifully soft bun. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Great Place to come and have a beer. Sunday night they had a pool tournament and looks like some poker. The place was clean and smoke free. I enjoyed that. The only down fall was that the air conditioning was not keep up with the place. Was a bit hot. But it did start cooling down after the sunset. Overall cool place

I still like Shanahans, even though our group was asked to leave. The bar tender was very rude. We've been going there the last couple of months for wings on Wednesday and burgers on Thursday. We have several seniors that meet there, from a couple of groups. Our normal tables were being used, so we gathered at a smaller table and started to move the tables, but some of the people at the table started to leave. My girlfriend asked if they were leaving, and they said no but offered the tables because of the size of our group, and they didn't need the big tables anymore. The bartender thought we asked them to move, we didn't! She became unhinged and told one of our ladies to leave. When she left we decided to leave also. On the way out, I went to the bar to pay for my drink and wings. I asked her about it, and she said, "You can't ask patrons to move." I told her we didn't, and even one of the guys told her the same thing, and she yelled at us all to get out and that we didn't tip/pay her enough. Well, she just lost Shanahans our business. She works the bar, and we bus our own tables. She's the only person behind the bar. I asked her before why she didn't have help, and she admitted she didn't want any help. I guess she wanted...

Ive don't go out to bars, but for the last 2 months co-workers have been inviting me here. Everything was chill, until Maddy cussed at me because I bought one beer and didn't tip, after tipping the previous bartender when she closed out. When I mentioned this to the previous bartender and was gonna apologize and leave a tip. She cut me off mid sentence and said it because I don't tip. After talking to regulars there they gave me the run down on tip culture at bars and it's not a "round up" kinda deal. Well I went to apologize once again because I didn't realize I was "that guy" wel l the bartender got disrespectful and told me it's a dive bar they don't get paid to be nice to me and if I "can't tip then they don't need me at their bar, if I don't like dive bars don't do to em." Ok you don't have to tell me twice. il make sure. To never return and my...
