Would have loved to support a local business, but it won't be this one. Online order for pickup at 6pm. Text the number they gave and called twice. Figured they were busy, but after 20 minutes walked inside. I see a guy carrying an ask him that happened to be mine, because I had been waiting for 20 minutes. He said no, so I asked if he knew when my order would be ready. He blew me off saying he was delivering this order right now. Go to the counter. So I go to the counter and wait behind 2 other customers. I see him deliver to the car next to mine that rolled in 5 minutes before I walked in. He comes in and I'm still just getting to the counter and I tell him just how sh!tty his service was and that he delivered to someone that had just been arrived while I had been waiting 20 minutes. He said he never received the message and looks at his phone, oh there it is. He blamed the app. The girl at the counter having heard all this starts describing everything I ordered clearing touching the foil wrapped bbq as she removed. I quickly touch the foil of the bbq and sure enough room temp. I asked for the manager, explained, he listened. Offered to remake in 2 minutes. I agreed and watched as he pulled his team to remake with hot food. 1 minute 40 seconds. I said "thank you" and I was out the door. Turkey was okay, sausage was mediocre. I'd give the food a 3, but service drops it to a 1. If it takes you 2 minutes to pack up an entire family meal, you should really listen to the customer when they say they have been waiting 20 minutes. And do the right thing if you obviously know the food is not fresh because it was sitting for 20 minutes. Have it remade without making the customer ask for...
Read moreThis was our first time to visit this Spring Creek Barbeque location (06/2023). It had been at least a decade since we've gone to one because the trips there in the past were less than satisfactory. Some of the staff members were extremely helpful and patient with our blunders during the ordering process; we had forgotten that this is one of those restaurants where you order your food as soon as you walk in. Some employees were more curt and less friendly (the manager on duty being one of them). The restaurant was fairly empty, but we counted 10 tables that hadn't been cleaned as we were trying to find a seat. Those were the only derogative things we experienced. The food turned out good. We tried the spare ribs, brisket, green beans, pinto beans, fries, and rolls. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet for what's usually a busy night at most places. We will come back soon and see if we have an even more...
Read moreThe food was excellent but I didn't feel like the employees gave us the attention we deserved. There were a bunch of employees that were just standing around talking and if they had been paying attention, they could have noticed that this was our first visit and helped us along. I had to ask the lady at the door if we sat where we wanted or wait to be seated. That was a good indication that we had never been there. My wife was a bit more upset because she ordered a sandwich plate and the guy never told her to wait for it or he would bring it to the table. She wasn't offered any condiments for her sandwich and when she was looking for them, the workers just looked at her and didn't ask what she was looking for. About 20 minutes into our meal, we were finally offered fresh hot dinner rolls, which were delicious by the way, but we were almost done...
