Had a great time at 'Time Out Tavern' First walking in, the energy is great and welcoming. Almost every person in there acknowledged our presence right away and during our seating. GABRIEL was our waiter and he did an amazing job with customer service, mannerisms, professionalism, and product knowledge on what's on the menus. SHAWN who also assisted with any of our needs in case Gabriel was busy. AUSTIN which was the cook did a great job with presentation, taste and delivery of the food. A really good thing was he took time to ask us how we wanted our food before making it. And the best part was their AMAZING SWEET TEA! FOR A FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE I HOPE EVERY OTHER VISIT WILL BE THE SAME. THANK YOU STAFF OF THE 'TIME OUT TAVERN' 🍺

First time here and came because it has good reviews. The menu has so many different varieties of food that it was difficult to decide. They have everything from burgers and sandwiches to sit-down dinners. I had the jalapeno poppers and a quesadilla and it was way too much to eat. I had to get a to go box. The food was great and so was the service. It wasn't overly crowded but still pretty busy. Seems like a nice mix of people. Tons of TVs all the way around. It's a nice place and great atmosphere. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Definitely will return.

BEST LOCAL BAR IN HUMBLE!!! This is our go to place weekly. Because of this bar me an my husband move to Texas has been a pleasant experience. We met some of the nicest people at this place and continue to meet people. Even had my birthday here this past week an the whole place sang happy birthday to me. The drinks are very very good for the price.

The manger Bridget is extremely rude and maybe racist i was told to leave for no reason after I have come in daily and paid for a drink and sit with my friend talking about life outside on porch in the same spot everyday I have to move money to a physical card from my online banking accounts sometimes and it takes a few minutes so I wait till get it then order drink I was having issues transferring my funds tonight and was going to sit down and do it after stood a few minutes and had trouble then some kind ladies asked was I ok as I was walking off and I said yes they said did I need uber or anything I said no I was trying to tranfer my money to my physical card because there is no tap pay they said don't worry we will buy you a drink I said you don't have to they said it's no problem so I sat down where I had just left and continued to try on my phone still she just said let them know what you want I didn't even ask the bartender because I still wanted to use mine . Also I come here right after work so they know I work and know I just got job and knoe I applied here to they also know l have used my card multiple times here so they know i come with my own money and buy my own drink with what I have. But then a bartender came up and said can I talk to you from a minute and said ms Bridget wants you to leave because you ask our customers for drink and it seem to be regular and I said no that's not the case I dont ask for drinks I have been offered you can ask the ladies right there and my friend outside he said let me ask the manager Ms Bridget then came back and said she said no and she wants you leave she doesn't want to deal with it tonight . I then asked still politely may I speak to her he said no it's kind of busy and honestly it was not and he said she wants you to leave now so I say OK and leave . Then I call when I get home and ask is it busy the lady said no the I asked may I talk to Ms Bridget she ten comes on the line i explain to her what happen and tell her I have proof of money on my phone and proof of me paying everytike I came in and she say it doesn't matter then says we'll somone offered you a drink more than once and I said ok biut I didn't ask at all I just have normal conversations with my buddy I sit with everyday outside same spot. These ladies I didn't know and they offered me as I walked away so how am I a problem. She the got an attitude with me and said it doesn't matter again the tried saying I bug people on the porch outside when that's never happened I have sat and prayed with one friend out there and walked and gave each other hug at themed of every night. I said I would love you to check the cameras and pint me out bugging somone she said no and I said who is the main manager she rudely gave me the name then hung up

Service was fine until tonight Ms Bridget is completely unprofessional and rude and lies .

I have worked in 4 difrent bars as barback/doorman for a year and never have I seen or experienced anything like this I would love to get in contact with the owner not just the main manager and talk about unprofessional his night manager is because thos was completely uncalled for they acted like i was a threat or something when I never raised my voice or got agitated in anyway. I have never caused problems and talk to maybe 2 people there on a regular. This was uncalled for and very rude it was just wrong why lie about what I can prove on cameras to you boss and with transaction receipts on my phone and with my friend that I do talk to at the bar and I have their numbers they come to the bar often so I have 3 ways of proving that I have nothing wrong and yet Ms Bridget didn't bother to verify anything or even come up with a valid reason I came in in my work clothes like obviously I work and am not some bum. This was unacceptable I come in after in work clothes still i obviously am not a bum I would love to talk to the owner because that was extremely unprofessional ...

I have had several bad experiences with this bar but I continued to attend to be my husbands driver. He loved this location bc their the only one sell Hennessey in the area. I’ve had my card number stolen by a bartender and they attempted to purchase gun equipment online with it, I even have the address to where it was being delivered so I know who did it. Not only has a bartender stolen from me but the manager Bridgett is unprofessional, has no control of her emotions, and does not know how to operate under pressure. She has had to apologize to my husband before and stated herself, that her outburst was because “she was having a bad night.” First time meeting her, she was serving drinks but said my husband couldn’t have a drink. She stated later that she did not know he was a REGULAR (we stay in Walden so this is one of our neighborhood bars) so if she had known we were from the NEIGHBORHOOD, she would have treated him differently?? I do not ever see her taking her bad nights out on ppl of her color. I have seen her raise her tone at my husband twice. I can say so many things about this location but don't worry I want dig too deep although I see EVERYTHING, lets get to what brought me to write this review..TONIGHT 9/22/2024 Bridgett is having one of those bad nights, just about everyone in there has their panties in their butt because their short handed and are obviously not trained to operate under pressure. My husband walks in to have a drink with his friend and Bridgett immediately pulls him outside and says that he isn't allow at the bar anymore because he touched one of their employees buttocks on Thursday night 9/19/24. This is a complete lie and is defamation of character and I personally want stand for it. I was with him this night. See the problem is I've been too nice to this establishment. From the stealing of my card number to the rude ass outburst yelling at my husband but this lil lie right here I want let slide. I have no intentions of ever spending another dime here but I have every intention to have that lie cleared up. I was with my husband on 9/19 and only ONE employee came into our space, she was new and she brought our drinks to our table and not a soul touched her so I believe this isn't a case of he touched someone…maybe a case of race or a case of we didn't tip enough that night but not a case of he touched someone and he standing next to the finest person in y'all bar. Yep, that's me:) Lets be fr. Its a low lie and once I walked into that bar tonight and had a conversation with Bridgitt “I only have 5 seconds” head ass I realize oh lol its another one of those nights for her. She can't handle the pressure as a manager and takes it out on the next person. See my husband goes to the bar and drinks and is social. He has once been warned by Cassey not to talk to a group of men, Cassey stated the men were racist and if he had to tell my husband not to talk to them again he would kick him out. Tonight when I walked in, it was only one skin tone of ppl in the building and you can bet it wasn't my husband skin tone. He was immediately removed. Bridgett has a personal aggenda against my husband and its not that he touched anyone because that is a lie. If he had touched anyone on Thursday, why wasn't he told on Thursday. Not only did we hang out there till 2am but we partied in the parking lot for a few minutes with other ppl that walked into our space to party with us. Why wait till Sunday? Is it white only Sundays? Why am I here writing this review? Because Bridgitt you will not LIE on my husband and you will not continue to take your bad days out on him. Let me reintroduce myself, it's Laura and I do not play about my family. Play with someone else husband, not mine. I have videos from that night, what employee was around us??? We get our drinks passed across the counter, only once did one girl come up to a group of 3 and she stood beside me. If you get banned, go to On The Rocks its a more mixed crowd. They treat their customers equally and the only color they may...

Have you ever been to a place you remembered being amazing and it had just fallen apart completely? Time Out Tavern is a shadow of its former self. They have closed their kitchen for remodeling for an unspecified amount of time, and they are currently serving what can best be described as cafeteria food. My friend ordered pork chops, and she got two slabs of something that was just barely identifiable - two quarter-inch-thick pieces of meat so overcooked they turned up at the edges served with gelatinous brown gravy and insipid green beans that were losing their color from being cooked too long. The only thing edible was her salad. The other options weren’t much better… meatloaf, a rubbery grilled chicken entree, and some other things I can’t remember. There is nothing on the menu for a vegetarian. I’m an omnivore, but one of my friends is. On some nights they apparently have food trucks, but that wasn’t an option tonight. Their menu said they allowed Domino’s Pizza delivery, but after waiting almost an hour for pizza to be delivered for our whole table, the manager swooped in and swiftly told me we weren’t allowed to have it. It wasn’t a gentle correction. I would have understood, “Hey guys. I’m sorry, but we don’t allow Domino’s Pizza to be delivered until 10 p.m. I know it says that you can have Domino’s on our menu, but if you really read it, it’s not allowed until after 10 p.m.” The way they have it listed on the temporary menu is confusing. We had six professionals at our table, and we were all shocked. We were even more shocked at how he corrected me. He said, “You can’t have that. Domino’s isn’t allowed until 10.” He was curt bordering on rude. Honestly, we would have left and spent money on drinks elsewhere, but we chose to support a business we had loved during their transition and settle for Domino’s. At least they’d make their money on drinks. I can’t imagine they’re making much money on food right now, especially with the meager options.

When I say there is nothing appealing on their menu, I mean nothing. Iceberg lettuce salads with overcooked meat. Macaroni and cheese made with what seemed like store-bought elbow pasta swimming in watery cheese sauce that resembled soup more than macaroni and cheese. The bright spot was our waitress. She was awesome and on-the-spot with drinks. I usually don’t order margaritas at dive bars. Mine was decent… about par for the course for what I’d expect at a dive bar. By the way, I don’t say dive bar disparagingly. I LOVE a good dive bar. The world needs more dives! We used to love their appetizers. Sure, it was a fried food bonanza and nothing spectacular, but they were perfect for an after-work happy hour. They were all solid… fried pickles, onion rings, cheese sticks, mushrooms plus potato skins and deviled eggs. Oh how the mighty have fallen. They’ve lost six customers tonight. That won’t make or break them. I have no delusions about that. I guess I’m writing this because i’m sad. I miss what they used to be. And poor management just poured salt on the wound. I prefer salt on the rim of my margarita or shot of tequila, which I’ll be buying somewhere else...
