Ginger Cafe — Restaurant in Texas

This place is close by and I saw it had decent reviews so decided to give it a try. First time I called I was trying to order delivery and found out they don't even deliver. What kind of asian restaurant doesn't offer delivery? Oh well...wasnt trying to leave the house so didnt order after all that day. Next time I called and ordered a Kung Pao chicken with steamed rice and egg rolls. The egg rolls were okay, but the kung pao was very blah. It had no spice whatsoever. Im sorry but if an item is supposed to be spicy and has the 🌶 next to it then it should have some peppers or something. Worst kung pao chicken ever. I would of rather had Panda Express. Then I called to complain and they asked me "what can we do for you?" I told them they could "give me something spicy like I ordered." They said they were closing and couldn't do anything for me at that time and they took my number down and said the manager would call me. Ha!! Ya right! 3 days later and no call still. I will NEVER be back! Dont bother trying it. Waste of time and money. I don't know how they even maintain 4 stars. They probably just have all reviews from family...

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight because I searched Pho near me. Although they didn't have what I wanted I stayed. I ordered fried vegetable egg rolls and they were cold. The server Daniella was horrible. My meal came with soup. I chose wonton soup. It had this watery white broth with no taste, lettuce and uncooked dumplings. I asked Daniella about it. She was rude, yet opted to get me hot sour soup. When she brought the soup out she threw it on the table, so far I needed to reach over to even it get it. I was kind to her. It's not personal when someone doesn't like the food. I was waiting for my teriyaki steak to come out. I immediately changed my mind, paid for my hot tea and egg rolls and left. Daniella initially came to the register. When I said she needed to give better service to customers she laughed and said I'll find someone to check you out. I agreed and said Yes, because you're rude and nasty.

I used to have a good review of this place. But after returning many times. I had good experiences and not so great ones. A couple of times I ordered to go and the rolls were not that good. But my last visit is the reason why I will not return. I learned they do not care about costumers. I had a piece of tuna that tasted really bad that I spit it out. And the avacodo in the California roll was Brown. I told them about both things and all they told me was the tuna was fine and the avacodo was fresh. First off as somone who has been eating and using avacodo all my life. I know that avacodo wasn't fresh. And I know what good tuna taste like and there was something wrong with what I was served. I didn't finish my food and instead of trying to make me happy as a costumer who has returned at least once a week for the past 5 months. They charged me for full price for a plate I didn't eat. And the waitress who always is kinda rude was rude as usual. In summery I will never return to this place nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. However the other...
