First, the pho and service were excellent! I was seated immediately and had my drink order within a minute.

I ordered the combination pho and was extremely surprised to see her bringing it to me less than 90 seconds later (not exaggerating). It was served amazingly fast.

The fresh basil and sprouts were both generously given and delicious. The pho broth was very good, and both the meat and noodles were excellent, with large portions.

I actually feel bad for taking off 1 star, but here is why I did: They don't have any hot spices.

When I have Vietnamese food, I very much look forward to the metabolism-boosting, sweat-inducing spiciness of hot chili peppers. So when a Vietnamese place literally doesn't have any... Well, honestly, it seems a little strange, especially in a Texas culture that typically craves spiciness.

If I wasn't a spice freak, there is no question I would have given 5 stars. Go...

Stop by this place on Saturday 2-18 for the first time with my daughter. I ordered a rice plate with grilled chicken. When the plate came, I was o.k. the grilled chicken was pink. It looked as if they painted it with some pink seasoning, I was o.k. with it. When I started eating it, I noticed the chicken was cold. I told the waitress about it and she said it was hot but after a while it got cold. I told her I just got the plate and it wasn't even long enough for it to be cold but the chicken is cold. She didnt offer to warm it up for me or anything and just walked off. I left the plate as is and waited for my daughter to finished up and pay the ticket. If the waitress didn't give me excuses, I would go back but consider this my 1st...

This is our family's spot for great vietnamese food and pho for the past 4 years. The food is great, prices are reasonable, and the family who owns it (and their staff) are so warm, welcoming and family oriented. We began eating here as a young couple without kids. We loved it just for the food and good prices, but when we had our first baby, they became even more of a favorite. You can tell they love children and made us feel so at home, when we'd come with our little one. If you've ever been out to eat with a fussy baby or messy toddler, you know it means a lot to feel welcomed on those occasions. Oh - and our little one LOVES their food too. It's one of his favorite...

Bún thịt nướng. Typical of what I have experienced at many Vietnamese restaurants. Cafe Su Da good. Good prices. Plenty parking.

UPDATE: Still a great place to stop! The service is excellent and fast, but not rushed. The portions were nice sized, the meat was very thinly sliced and super tender! It’s on our repeat list! The pho and grilled pork spring rolls were really tasty. Seasoned the Phó with 2 jalapeño slices and the squeeze of Lime and it was perfect! The broth had a wonderful rich flavor - not just salty! It was really tasty and the meat was thinly sliced and very tender! So glad it’s close to the office! It’s on the repeat list!
