Edit: Just be sure to take your leftovers box. If you forget it, the busboy will throw away the styrofoam to-go box immediately. I turned the car around as soon as I went out on Cypresswood to make a U-turn and came back in and the food had been thrown away. It was in a styrofoam to go box. Obviously I wanted to take it home but I left it on the table. Why would you throw away a to-go box in less than 5 minutes? The manager made it right, but he also defended the actions of the busboy and pointed out that I had left it. I understand that I left it, but as a customer service representative, it's not in the best interest of the establishment to put the blame on the customer. If the leftover food is in a styrofoam to go box , obviously the customer wants to take it home. At least put it to the side for maybe 10 minutes to see if the customer comes back for it. To throw it in the trash can within 3 minutes is not acceptable.
They serve you warm bread buns. We ordered the Mussels Marinara as an appetizer and wow! That sauce was amazing! We asked for more bread to sop up the sauce it was so good!
My wide ordered the Shrimp Modo Mio and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. I always order something different than my wife in case she likes my dish better. This was the case. She absolutely loved the Shrimo Scampi and she is hard to please. I call her a food snob. I enjoyed the Shrimp Modo Mio as well.
I decided to get the Tiramisu which was pretty good.
I usually forget to take photos of the food until I've already started eating, which is the case here as well,...
Read moreI had seen Trattoria Pizza & Pasta pop up on searching for places to dine a couple of times & decided to check it out..
it looked like a great place to be able to sit down & have a meal.. Super clean & everyone was very inviting .. I sat at the bar area which was more of a take out & curbside station as of now.. The young waitress did not know anything about the menu. I asked what kind of salad dressings they had & she was confused... That’s fine cause everyone has to start somewhere ...
I ordered the Tour of Italy (same kinda thing Olive Garden sells) .... It sounded great.. Lasagna / Fet Alfredo & chicken parm...
they had a lot of to go orders going out - & a couple of people dining - so things shouldn’t of taken too long...
I waited for a little over 35 mins - sorry that’s just plain ridiculous.. But the best part is the food ..lol.. the chicken Parmesan which I couldn’t cut with a fork.. it was under half an inch thick & breaded/fried & stale I was in shock that they actually sent that out to a table — sorry you can cover up a lot of stuff with red sauce & mozzarella to make it good but not a piece of over friend hammered thin - reheated chicken ... it was really sad because I wanted this place to be good..
The fettuccine Alfredo was not bad.. Actually very good..
the Lasagna looked great - but when I get lasagna at any Resturant I always check the center to see if it’s done & lol.. slightly damp & just past cold to Luke warm.. not heated up all the way,,
maybe it was a bad night - I’ll give them another try but that’s not how you...
Read moreCalled ahead as my son was wanting Italian Food, I am gluten free due to an autoimmune disease. When we called they said yes we have Penne and spaghetti gluten free noodles. We arrive, the lady is very nice explains all the gluten free dishes they can make with those two pastas. Our waiter comes, he is very nice to everyone but seems a little put out that I requested gluten free, proceeds to tell me it's going to be 25 minutes because they have to "make " the noodles, then says "your Choice", it's so offensive when waitstaff don't understand it's not a choice, I'd much rather eat the regular noodles bread and not have to worry about it! I ordered gluten free Penne with Shrimp alfredo , when this arrived I had a bowl full of spaghetti noodles with Shrimp alfredo, when I questioned him he said NO, NO PENNE!...so I'm not a picky person so I ate it and the noodles tasted as if they had been dunked in the water long enough to soften them for shape and slapped on my plate. Sauce was good and shrimp, I found some fettucine noodles mixed in with mine at the bottom after I had forced myself to eat the noodles. At that moment I KNEW there was cross contamination , maybe boiled in same water not sure but there was 100 percent cross contamination. That evening and all day the next day I was extremely sick. Again, Gluten free isn't always a choice, it can make people very sick. If you can't handle the gluten free dishes don't advertise when people call to ask. You may get the wrong person...
