The good: my burger had a good flavor. It was not terribly greasy, but not overly dry either. The vegetables on the burger were excellent. They had a crisp, fresh taste. The bread on the burger was excellent. The French fries had excellent flavor.
The bad: pretty much everything else.
We waited about half an hour for this meal, even though the restaurant was not terribly busy. The fries were cold. My burger was Luke warm. Obviously my food sat around for ten or fifteen minutes before they served it.
Our drinks tasted funny. These were from a soda fountain. My alleged Dr. Pepper didn't quite taste like Dr pepper. My wife said her sprite had a weird aftertaste.
My wife did NOT enjoy her burger. She found it bland and dry. Hers was at least served hot.
There were no paper towels in the men's room, and I'm pretty sure their hand soap is just Dawn dish detergent, which is bad about drying the skin.
This meal was on the pricey side, too. $14 plus tax for a burger, fries, and a soda. If the meal had been first-rate, that wouldn't be an outrageous price, but that's some expensive mediocrity.
The lighting in the place is pretty subdued. That's fine, except that it's hard to read the menu. I used my cell phone flashlight.
The climb up to the parking lot from street level is quite steep. Our car bottomed out as we were leaving, scraping the pavement. I don't think the car is damaged, but it's one more reason not to visit this restaurant.
They have the audacity to ask for a tip before the meal is served. Now I can see why.
If this were the only burger place left in the world, I'd consider...
Read moreI was so excited to dine at this place being an out of towner. The menu looked amazing and wow the beer selection was awesome! But then it came time for service. Stood at the doorway forever waiting to be sat, got sat, waited for a waitress or just someone to ask us for our drink order. Things started looking up when we got our drinks, the waitress polite but not engaged. Nothing welcoming about this place. We ordered and the waitress forgot to enter one of the orders and a drink order. Our drinks ran dry and was told the restaurant had a water pressure issue which it may have. The food came out one plate at a time so when I was sitting there waiting for mine I just thought mine was last but not the case. The waitress came over to ask if we needed anything and I said “yes my meal” she repeated what it was and proceeded to go enter it. I called her out on the fact that she had no entered it just like the beer she forgot to enter and had to go get after I reminded her. She then talks to her manager to offer a discount and was offered 1/2 of my plate. The manager never came over until I just cancelled the plate and as we were leaving When I did this she then offered the plate for free. Now if you think this service is great then I encourage you to visit if not , keep on moving ! As an end note I was super disappointed because we don’t have this establishment where we’re from so we took a...
Read moreI visited the world Burger location near Lake Conroe off of 105. I highly recommend this place... It is seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had! I'm doing the KETO diet, so I'm not eating any bread or french fries, but they have an option to build your own Burger which works best for me. I built my burger exactly as I wanted and, while it is a bit expensive (averaging $11 for a burger and $18 for a double-cheeseburger), it's worth every bite! :-). The meat is really juicy and perfectly seasoned.... the bacon is crisp, the cheese is ooey gooey and melted deliciousness... And the avocado is a perfect addition 😋. They are now offering dining inside the restaurant, even though the website hasn't been updated after Texas stay-at-home orders have been lifted..... They have limited seating due to covid-19 safety precautions but there is seating available. They also have takeout and delivery available. Come try...
