Franz Bakery Outlet — Restaurant in The Dalles

Love this place! The staff are all super sweet and you cannot beat the prices at this outlet. They even have punch cards, so when you buy items over time and fill your punch card you get items for free! Every visit if you spend a certain amount (I believe it's about $15) you get to pick items off the back wall for free as well. Plus, if you redeem your punch card on a Tuesday you get double the amount of free items! If you have kids and need to stock up, don't buy your bread or pastries...

Witnessed the yellow van strike a puppy right in front of a high school cheerleaders car wash (clearly the driver wasn't watching tye road). Two cheerleaders rushed into the street, stopped traffic, and watched as the poor pup died next to their car wash. The driver... after realizing they had struck something they sped off. We got the license plate number and everything. We let the police know. Some end to a fund raiser for these teen girls. ...

Franz is wonderful! I always find a great deal, get freebies and talk to Julie my favorite person who works there. The products are always great I know what I'm getting and how long it will last because they always price...
