Just got done with lunch here; mainly because my husband wanted it. I tend to find the food mediocre at best. I have to say the employees are great, probably the best thing this place has going. While we were eating and a couple other tables, one of the (Iâm assuming) owners came in and blatantly Nd quite loudly had a conversation with an employee telling him he wasnât delivering a catering order in which he was trying to ensure good service. Planet of other employees were around and probably heard her tell him he wasnât delivering it because âshe didnât trust anyone else in the kitchen.â She also made sure to tell him to make sure he charged them a fee to deliver and shouted several times âNO DIscounts and no extras!!!â Pretty money hungry and clearly not concerned with what her paying customers hear and how she belittles the other employees. This woman ruined any chance of us returning. Pretty stupid for a restaurant owner/manager whose focus should be on the...
Read moreI was really hoping this was going to be a good experience but it wasnât. Loved the small town diner feel from the inside but the food was not up to par. The lady next to our table found a hair in her food before we even ordered which made me nervous from the get go.
We both ordered the same thing that included 2 biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs, sausage or ham, hash browns or grits, and I got an additional empanada. NONE of our food was even warm and the grits had this terrible funky taste to them. I ordered my eggs over easy and the whites were still runny on them. Even adding salt, pepper and chalula didnât help the situation. The 2 women that were serving a full restaurant seemed to have their hands pretty full and were constantly on the move.
Not sure if it was an off day or what but unfortunately that one visit was...
Read moreAgree with Gilbert's and David's review. I'd give this racist place a zero if I could for service (never going there again to try their menu anyway). My son and I wanted to take my wife out to coffee and breakfast on Mother's day. We headed to this place where we were met with cold stares from their clients and their cold staff (all of the same color - no points for guessing which!), and get this - we were promptly asked to try their other location on Research, this despite the fact that there were many seats available outside and inside! We went across the parking lot to Taco Nation and we were so happy for it! They greeted us warmly and had the best breakfast tacos and salsa, we had in a long time. To top it off, they actually presented my wife with a rose for Mother's day. Shame on Dosey Doe, learn from...
