Like one reviewer said, "These amazing treats are incredibly moist and flavorful but also light".. they are so very tasty!! The last time I placed an order was on July 31st for every flavor they had and me and my family loved every single one!!
.... No let's continue with my experience with the employees... "I would rate them higher on the quality and taste of the cake itself but, I cannot overlook the rude, unhelpful, unfriendly interaction".. no matter how small it was.. My advice for potential customers, if you want to try these treats AT THIS store, go at your own risk.. or go to another location, maybe.
I went into the store and it was a white older lady that took my order. She was polite. I told her the kind of cupcakes I wanted and that I wanted decorative flags saying happy birthday.. she took all the flags "I asked for" out. I also added a few candles and I told her that I wanted a card with a message on it. She said it would take about 15-20 mins to get the order ready and asked me if I was waiting at the store. I told her I would go run a few errands and be right back around 30 mins. ** I came back in around 30 mins, like I said. My order was already out in the front waiting for me. I noticed I forgot to tell them the message to type on the card so, I asked the young white lady that checked me out, if I can give her the message to put on the card. She said, "you can actually just write it yourself".. I told her that I don't have good handwriting and I don't mind waiting for it. She stared at me for a bit and looked so flustered by my request. Then, another older white lady came to us and asked, "What's the matter?" I repeated what I said and she just looked at the card and the young lady just kept looking flustered. I'm not the type to argue (I hate confrontation actually) so, I just said "never mind, I'll do it my self" and young white lady just replied with "okay". .. fine... whatever.. letting that one go.
Before I left I quickly opened the box and noticed that the icing was very soft and losing it's form. I wanted to say something, but again I hate confrontation, and didn't want to stay there a second longer, so just left. They could have left the cupcakes in the fridge until I got there. ** I got home and, since I had my AC on blast, the icing was firmer but, like I said before, the form was off. But the worse part was that the decorative flags didn't even say happy birthday, the said HAPPY RETIREMENT! -__-. The good thing is that the birthday girl has a good sense of humor, so she and everyone else had a good laugh. But still to even have to go through this is just WOW!
If I am being too much, then I am sorry. Maybe it was just heat that day and the fact that I had an event to go to that was getting to my head. I just feel like even if it wasn't too much I wasted a bit of money here. I've worked in retail and fast food industries so, I know how hard it is to deal with customers. But I also know what it means to have good customer service skills. Even on my worst day, I always put the customer first they cry at home if I have to. But that aside, I DID NOT ASK FOR MUCH when I was there and I was not disrespectful. the only thing I asked for is for them to help me with writing a message on a card which they did not even bother to try to do. I really like the cakes, but maybe I'll try a different location or just a different place...
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Worst experience ever. If you have a concern, you’d better forget it. The manager is unprofessional and condescending. The fact they treat customers this way is crazy. They’ve lost my business and I definitely won’t recommend them to anyone. Be careful ordering online!!! They will send you an email the following day with an entire page of policies that aren’t disclosed during the ordering process. I Would never have ordered had this all been disclosed up front. First, who would want to send a Bundt as a gift that requires the recipient to be home for a 4 hour window (of which they don’t guarantee?!) YET they tell you if their driver has to wait more then 5 minutes, you are charged a fee. Guess their times more valuable than ours. When I asked to cancel because this policy wasn’t mentioned or disclosed anywhere online when I ordered, and my recipient couldn’t stay home all day, I was charged a cancellation fee. Petty and honestly offensive. I refuse to support businesses who take advantage of their customers and clearly this location could care less. After 4 emails and a phone call, never once did they apologize nor address the fact these policies are not given at checkout. If they want to force someone to agree to policies, they had better start disclosing those “policies” at time of purchase. Owner is rude and has no customer service skills at all. What business owner emails customers a one page list of policies and asks the customer to agree to them AFTER a purchase?!?!?! Put it on the website Barbara so customers see at time of purchase. Otherwise keep on scamming people and see how that works...
Read moreThe cake tasted delicious, and we have been customers of Bundt Cakes for years now. We were looking at many places to buy our mothers 50th bday cake and we finally decided to buy the cake from here. We hadn’t gone back in awhile, we were excited to have another Bundt cake. We don’t remember the customer service being so unfriendly. We were kind of nervous about buying a cake from a bakery during COVID 19 we could bake our own. We love Bundt cakes. We did not like that they offer special pickup instructions and do not consider them. We put our very simple requests and should they not be able to, just to call us before the pickup. The lady who gave us our cake was very moody about our requests. Also, they made many spelling errors on our short message to mom. Our family’s simple first names on our custom typed card were mostly spelled incorrect. A little bit of a spelling check goes a long way especially about something this important- your customer service. We wished they put in more effort in just simple customer service, but overall we enjoyed...
