Captain D's — Restaurant in Thomaston

I would have given zero stars but that wasn’t an option if I wanted to leave a review , so here it is , I understand that when you go to a drive thru you’re rushed to make an order , well we went through the drive thru at this location , the woman over the speaker seemed very unpleasant , she almost didn’t get both of my kids orders . The wait for our food was dreadfully long that by the time we got home the food wasn’t all that great and my order was screwed up, I ordered butterfly shrimp with a side of broccoli and Mac and cheese , needless to say I got broccoli for my side but got French fries instead of macaroni and cheese. Captain d’s y’all need to do better because I’m not to happy about my meal...

I have eaten at many different Captain D's restaurants thru the years. Captain D's of Thomaston Ga is by far the best I have had in a long long time. In fact I have picked up from there twice this week. The staff is very nice and professional. I witnessed them handle a difficult situation with another customer in the drive thru. When my turn at the window came I was afraid I would be greeted with a scowl...instead I got a warm smile and hearty Hello! The cashier really handled herself well and did not allow whatever the previous situation was carry over to subsequent customers. That speaks highly of the staff and their level of professionalism! And the food reminds me of how great Captain D's was 40 yrs...

The overhead vents were dripping condensate, which is a breeding ground for bad stuff. I went into the store to order, waited 20 minutes for my 2 box meal while 10 drive-thru customers were served before me. That's simply unacceptable. Why aren't in-house customers as important as drive-thru? They have, however, improved their order accuracy, and let you see the box if you're inside.
