October 13, 2022 at approximately 3:35 PM, ordered a number eight got to the window she tried to tell me I ordered number 10 I explained that I did not try to give her the sandwich but she refused slammed the window in my face after telling me again that I did not order it because she heard me. Drove around the building to check I was correct the number eight was not the chicken sandwich that she kept making me take. Drove back up to the window asked for a manager. A young woman with long braids most of them blue came to the window with her where she proceeded to explain to me that if I ordered a number eight I had the right sandwich I said no I do not this is chicken mine was a burger it’s on a pretzel bun it’s got a little onion grumblings on it. The manager then proceeded to argue with me, if she was a manager, and tell me I was wrong that the number eight was the chicken sandwich I told her it is not on your board it is the pretzel bun she got upset with me and told me I was wrong. I reassured her that I had just drove through and looked at the board outside and a number eight was definitely a pretzel bun she assured me that I was not correct it does not say that the first young lady that served us told her she’s got her sandwich and the manager then slammed the window shut and walked away. I drove around the building to the menu board again to take a picture to send to corporate. As I pulled up to the menu board out came the young lady with the long blue braids from the back door where she walked up to the menu board and looked. I told her see I tried to tell you I was right she did not acknowledge my speech in any manner as she turned and went back in the building. I have had a lot of bad customer service at Wendy’s over the last couple months but this was the worst ever I will not only be contacting corporate but I want the owner to read this and if he does not or she does not I will make sure to find out who they are and email them or whatever it takes these two young ladies were rude yelled at me actually raise their voices at me and each took a turn slamming the window in my face the first one slammed the two windows together so hard to bounce back up in three or 4 inches . Read moreI arrived at the drive thru waited no one spoke up so I said hello, no reply. I waited a couple of minutes said hello again, still no response, waited another couple of minutes said hello no response so I drive up to window. The lady said she was talking to someone else, (for 5 minutes?) I said ok can I just order from here, her reply was no you have to go back around to the speaker. I asked if she was joking. She replied no. The car that was behind me drove off from the speaker I assume she wasn't replying to them either. I drove around to see there were now 4 cars in line at speaker so I parked and went inside. When I ordered they rung up a different burger than I ordered didn't realize until later)and wouldn't give me the receipt until order was fulfilled. I ordered a 3.89 burger and small frosty, the balance was over 10.00. When handed the receipt I asked for the drive thru persons name, who had also came over to help the cashier figure out how to enter something. So she had put my order in. The cashier told me that is my manager I can't. I said I understand, he didn't want to be fired. No one had name tags on and they all seemed scared of this woman. Called Wendy's corporate and reported it. They made a case. Hopefully she will be gone the next time I go. Or I won't be at that...

We have already had a Wendy's in Thomaston close once before for bad management and poor customer service. Came about an hour before they closed Friday (July 7, 2018) Ordered a 4for4 and a Jr bacon cheese burger in drive thru.cashier was extremely rude and easily agitated when we pulled to the second window after receiving no help at the pay window. She kept huffing and puffing when we asked about the Jr bacon cheese burger ( that was not in the bag) she said I didn't order it so I asked her to ring me up for one. Acted like my money wasn't good at the establishment. I was a manager for 2 major restaurant for 6 years, so bad customer service is a bad pet peeve for me. She swiped my card and wouldn't give me my card back until they made my burger and bagged it and handed it to me. Then I asked for a receipt for my records and she turned away from me as she huffed and putfed and rolled her eyes.
