Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Thomasville

My family and I went here tonight for the first time in a few years. we stayed away so long bc the last time we were here the service was so bad, this time we figured, "its been long enough...maybe its better" and we love beefs food so why not right! well Ill tell u why not... we walk in, nice place, cozy and inviting, we order drinks... kids ordered one sprite, one tea and one root beer. dad had a beer and water, i ordered tea....dad gets his beer first, then my sons root beer and one sprite, my daughter and i who both ordered tea, got water...... my server went total mia to the bar on us after taking our order and we didnt see her face again until she brought our check...but lets back up some. I asked another lady if we could please have out teas, she apologized and quickly delivered. after 1 hour our food came out. mind u, our server never checked on us the entire hour we sat there, the other nice lady refilled our cups and kept checking on us, she even gave my son something to color to pass the time. i ordered medium serloin, i got a well done dog biscuit (no joke) ill post a pic. with our server out of sight and nowhere to be found we informed the lady who had been SERVING US all along about the issue and she told the kitchen to please fix it, 20 mins later my plate made it back to our table. mind you, my family has been done eating by now my husband had 2 beers and ate as slow as possible and the missing server had brought our check ALL BEFORE I EVEN GOT MY FOOD! to the nice lady who works for the school, you are an amazing person and you are wonderful for taking care of us when u didnt have to and we thank u, HOWEVER, Ill never pay another $66.00 bill for a meal i didnt even get to eat with my family, i ate my meal cold and alone out of a to go box at home bc I refused to make my family sit there any longer. I pray the almost $10 forced gratuity goes to the lady that did the work and not our actual "server" bc literally all she did was take our order...everyone else refilled drinks, brought our food, checked on us and even bussed the table when we were leaving. if u want a easy waitress job where everyone does the work for u and u get paid for it, go work at beefs. forced gratuity so the waitress doesnt even have to work or wait their tables to get a nice tip. totally disappointed, actually down right ticked...

If you want your order to be wrong and don't get what you order then go ahead and eat here. I put exaggeration on that I want my steak "WELL DONE". It comes to my table and it's the rarest bloody steak I've ever been served. The waitress comes over and apoligizes I'm so sorrrry. They take it back then brings out this char burned up steak. I said I wanted a well done steak not a charred burnt steak. Not only was it charred but it was flavorless. Tasted like a pinch of salt, pinch of pepper, and a whole lot of burnt. Beef 'o' Brady's you don't burn food when someone ask for it well done and use a actual steak seasoning for God sakes don't be scared of flavor. Your steak tasted like nursing home food PITIFUL. Then my girlfriend never got her mixed drink she ordered the whole meal. Mentioned it to waitress, oh I'm so sorrrrry didn't offer to get it for here, make it right or anything just made excuses about why she screwed up and walked away. The food was good and ready when I expected it to be. I enjoyed both the cheeseburger wrap and the OMG burger, though they could use a bit of seasoning on the beef and the cheese could've been melted better. The lemon ice tea I got was good but I think I maybe had too much ice because it tasted pretty watery by the time I got back to work 12 minutes later. Unfortunately, I'm probably not going back though-- I didn't realize a tip had already been added to my total. When I placed the order online, I didn't even see a place to include a tip and the balance was about $21. So when I got to the restaurant, I added a tip on the receipt like I always do (I take the blame for not reading it thoroughly before signing) but it wasn't until I'd gotten back to work and checked it over that I saw the $4 tip already included. I'm all for tipping and I don't regret ending up giving that much, but it needs to be made clear during checkout that there's an automatic tip included. Personally, I'm a bit too annoyed by the lack of that clarity for...
