If I could give a zero I would and mainly because of the owner! Tonight my family and I dined in. I ordered the fish po boy with fries. When i took a bite of my sandwich the fish wasnt good at all. The tomatoes were super soft to the point they were falling apart. The young man who took my order (Caleb i believe) did an awesome job at taking my order and stated if there were anything he could help with to let him know. Therefore I let him know the fish sandwhich was not good. I explained that it tasted like old oil or something because this had a very weird taste. He asked if there was something else I'd like, I said sure, the grouper. He took the entire basket with fries. Later the Mgr/Owner brought that very same basket back to me (without wearing any gloves). Mind you I had only taken one (uno, single...just one!!!) bite from the sandwich. It's not like i had eaten half the sandwich and then complained. However, the expression on his face said he was ready to argue when he asked what was wrong with it. I explained the same thing that I had before. He repeated, "Old oil? It's not old oil, (pointing to the fried green tomatoes that my cousin had) those tomatoes and the fish were fried in the same grease!" I said , "Sir, the sandwich isn't good. Something tastes weird." He went on to tell me that No one had complained all day and that I was the only complaint so there was nothing wrong with the fish. He went on to say that I needed to tell him what was wrong, as if what I complained about was not valid enough. He was super rude, he didnt offer me anything else...he just continued saying, "There's nothing wrong with that fish," as he walked off. I mean he didnt even say I'd have to pay the difference if they cooked something else. Because I did notice the grouper cost more than the po boy. And that wouldn't have been a problem, had he said that. It was very clear to me that he didnt care, I as a customer was a problem to him and he just wasnt about provide any form of quality service. I understand what's apparent...his business is well established in Thomasville, Ga and he could care less if he gets my business or not. No worries, I wont be back and nor will my family. -Some things...

Read moreLast night, I had a disappointing experience with the restaurant owner. A member of my party ordered the fish sandwich but was not satisfied with the taste after one bite. She requested to switch the fish to a grouper. The cashier was pleasant and attempted to fulfill her request. About five minutes later, the owner came to our table asking why the fish sandwich was returned. It felt like he was interrogating her and every answer that my associate provided was not good enough. We felt awkward as he stood over us. His demeanor was overbearing and his attitude was condescending. Never in my life have I experienced a business owner or person in a leadership position behave in this manner toward a customer. His final statement was “no one else made a complaint today”, slid the plate towards my associate (with her original food items) and walked away. Needless to say, this is my last visit to this restaurant and I am suggesting to my family and friends not to spend their money here as well. If the owner behaves like this, it’s only a matter of time before this behavior trickles down...
