Let me say I know first hand how hard food service is, so to the people who own this Hardees, you should be embarrassed to call yourself a small business owner when it’s clear that you don’t provide the necessary staffing and support to your workers. I don’t blame them for what is clearly your attempt to cut corners in all the wrong places, which has created the experience I had while doing a simple drive thru order.
I am still presently sitting in the drive thru while trying to pick up a late breakfast/early lunch. I got in line at 9:46 AM, pulled up to the order menu at 9:54 AM, and no one asked me to wait or let me know if or when they would be able to help me. I didn’t get to place an order until 10:07 AM. During that 13 minute window I tried to get someone’s attention three separate times to no avail. On the fourth try someone finally responded. I then waited to pay for my order for another 6 minutes and didn’t receive the food for another 3 minutes after that.
The food is great at Hardees generally, but in this case we didn’t even receive fresh food. It was lukewarm at best.
All told I finally left the Hardees with the order at 10:16 AM, having spent 30 minutes from beginning to end. I would have left sooner but I got trapped in the line that formed as a result of the poor service experience. The only reason I have time to write the review is due to how long I have sat in the line.
I don’t completely blame the workers here because it looked like there were two people to run the dining room and the drive thru and cook. That comes down to management and ownership who should all take a really long look in the mirror and ask themselves whether they really want to run and operate a franchise.
Update: I tried the link the owner posted in response to my review and in line with my expectations, the bot they routed me to didn’t recognize the link.
This reaffirms my view expressed. I went back on 4.7.24 at 11:06 AM, then I waited again for 19 minutes in a line with only four cars only to be told at 11:25 AM that they are not serving breakfast in spite of the signage on the building and the menu saying breakfast is served everyday until noon.
I won’t be returning to this location and I highly suggest you find another place to get breakfast if that is what you want. There is a Bojangles across the street with much better service.
Update 2: I went to Bojangles same day, arrived at 11:31 AM, gave my order at 11:33 AM, and left with my order...
Read moreQuite literally the worst , most unprofessional and personally embarrassing encounter I have ever had at any restaurant of any caliber.
I ordered online to collect and redeem points, as I always have. Upon arrival, there was 4 cars in the drive through. After about 5 minutes, the car in front of me left the lane as we still had not moved as the first cars order still had not been taken.
17 minutes later, I am at the speaker box and told to wait a moment. 7 moments later, I was asked for my order, which I explained was an online order. I was told to pull through to the window.
As I came around the corner, there was no other cars waiting at the window. I was told that my order, 2 ham and cheese friscos, could not be completed as they did not have the bread, I asked if it could be made on hamburger buns instead. I was told yes and to pull forward to a parking spot.
I sat in this parking spot for 21 minutes, where I walked inside and politely explained my situation and just asked for a refund. I’ve worked in food my entire life, I understand that things happen and get lost in translation but today I just preferred a refund.
When the cashier informed the older woman with the “breakfast manager” title on her shirt, she became very aggressive, instantly. She became yelling that she already made that order, that nobody ran it to my car. And attempted to point at the order sitting on the counter, I asked again if I could have a refund as the sandwiches were cold and I had been here well over 45 minutes now.
She then began, quite loudly, yelling at me that “This is what happens when you people order this food online, you have to come inside and pick up and not in the drive through” in a VERY aggressive tone. I explained that I was told that I could pick it up in the window, or I would have came inside.
She then began, again very loudly and aggressively, speaking to the customers behind me about how she has to get me my refund although my food is ready, and how the app is awful and useless and was glad nobody else in the lobby chose to use it like me.
I have never been so mortified when people started shouting back about who wants another app on their phone, who wants to tell a phone how to order food, etc.
It was embarrassing to say the least. I will not be back at this location that I’ve visited for over 7 years living in the...
Read moreSo we do not eat Hardee's regularly, pulled in the drive thru, seen that they were selling a $5.99 bag, started to order and immediately the lady taking the order caught an attitude because I didn't know what all came in the bag, she kept trying to talk over everything I said. When I pulled up to the window she handed me my drinks, and said nothing at all, I sat there for about seven to eight minutes, was told to pull forward. Fifteen minutes later another girl came out and specifically said "Please be careful, the burgers are fresh and extremely hot." As we were pulling off my husband started handing my kids their food. ...burgers, hot ham and cheeses and our fries were ice cold. I honestly don't mind waiting for warm decent food and also understand that people have bad days but I work hard for my money and this experience (that was supposed to be convenient hince ordering through the drive thru) was probably one of the...
